No investment in cofund.it will come from Iconomi. They will be running their own ICO to fund the project. They did not want to use Iconomi ICO funds to fund this project as it is not part of the original Iconomi project.
I still don't get it ... why are they having an ICO ? I mean ... shouldn't they be paid by the provided service? They want to raise 2mil $ for what ? A web site to present the company? A table to sit around and coach ICOs? How much money do you need to sit around a table and decide in which ICOs to invest, research on the web about the project, talk with the people having those projects, coach them ... ? I mean in case of ICONOMI I can understand ... programmers costs ... servers, infrastructure, testing, marketing. Smells to me like a new way to drain money from the people. Cofound.it is not associated with ICONOMI and is not funded by ICONOMI. Is it true?  if they are not associated, what exactly is Jani doing in the cofound.it slack then? He rather communicate in there than in ICONOMI's own slack. Nope, they are busy working out how to do another ICO so as to rake in millions of dollars again rather than concentrating on getting the platform ready.  If they are doing it under the aegis of ICONOMI so as ICONOMI stake holders we should be happy because every good investment will be shared with ICN holders. Yeah i do agree on this but it this statement will not satisfy most of the investor due to #1 : Product not delivered , no profit was shared #2 : Iconomi changed their dividends to buy back In order to gain back the purchase power, by deliverying the OFM platform is the first step which the beta has been tested but which required time to check and fix for errorless platform |

Nobody has asked for an explanation of every github commit, or for constant, daily communication. He is just acting like an ignorant, arrogant buffoon by saying things like this. People call this team professional? On one side, you have Tim Zagar, who hardly speaks a word - and when he does, it's vague enough to create more questions than it answers. Positivity at every turn huh? I've worked with many emerging companies in the actual Silicon valley, so here's some obvious observations about "Silicon Valley for the Digital Age." Iconomi has absolutely invested in Cofound.it. Iconomi paid Jan and Daniel for 6 months and spent whatever amount of resources they used, to work on a mentoring program. Jan and Daniel came up with IP during their time at Iconomi, which belongs to iconomi, that will now be going to Cofound.it. Look at Cofound.it's announcement: Over the last few months we have engaged with over 30 teams, selecting the best to showcase on Cofound.it in the coming weeks.
Finally, how much ICN are Jan and Daniel taking with themselves personally? This is ICN that will no longer be available to entice future team members. Edit: Jan indicated to me on Reddit that both he and Daniel only have ICN that they've bought on the open market. It feels to me that the 10% is the absolute minimum that they could get away with and still try to sell this as a "spin-off." In reality though, you don't ever "spin-off" what is essentially a start-up. And under the circumstances, anything under 50% feels like a ripoff. 10% isn't a "bonus." It's likely an underpayment. |

Not once did I say that the Jani you were talking to was definitely the Jani from Cofound.it ...I said there MAY BE some confusion. I was trying to explain there are TWO Jani's. You jumped to the conclusion that it was definitely the one from Iconomi. I was waiting for clarification. Some kind of adult constructive response like "oh no i asked him it's definitely this or that Jani" but no. Just random name calling. If this was the Jani from Iconomi then I'm as angry about it as you! I can't understand why he would be on the cofound.it slack that's why I was explaining there might be confusion as this would be a very bad move by Iconomi. I can't believe this would be the case being two different separate companies. If you are right I apologies for getting angry at you as I should have directed that at Iconomi. But I can't for a second believe this is right without proof or clarification. Something which has still not been provided yet you seem to be sure of?
