Interesting discussions as always here  Grin  Personally, I'm not sure i would invest in an Nvidia monster rig, mainly because it seems like you would be paying a premium AND limiting yourself since ZEC seems to be the only coin that is mined better on Nvidia (if I'm not mistaken).  Plus, it always seems like when new coins come out, the first miners (at least ones made by Claymore) are usually for Radeon cards.

i'm already loaded with AMD's..maybe its diversifying with cards, nvidia is better at some algos compared to AMD.

i'm also looking at powerful gpus (bigger hash), my mining room is getting filled, imagine a 2x 300 sols card vs 1x 600 sols card, you save half the space and...imagine if i can only fit 8 cards more, thats 600 sols x8 instead of 300 sols x8.

thinking about getting fury, fury X, 1080 ti, 1070 , 1080...or wait for vega (HBM2).

you know what...my biggest earner in the last few months is not my GPUs, it's my socket 775 intel quad core CPUs LOL!, mining pascalcoin, the first GPU miner that came out was nvidia, second is AMD.

or.....i'm expanding in the attic, i'm having plans in my head lately  Grin

hey how about that new RYZEN CPU.... Nicehash labs say it outperforms a standard i7 and will do well for CPU mining - I am itching but need to focus on a 2nd GPU farm.

DCR is out of this world right now!!! 19 gpus is 60$ a day its crazy!!

I sold at $5 dang.....

I couldn't resist selling my hash at NH at 19,000% payout .... DCR fanatics throwing bags of BTC to buy hash and mine DCR?

if you use smOS..... get the Pascal sgminer-v5.5 and get it to work at NH:

-k decred  -I 21 -w 64 -g 2  -o stratum+tcp://decred.hk.nicehash.com:3354 -u <myBTCaddress>.$rigName  -p x  --text-only

nicehash selling isnt worth it
that 60 a day is straight mining

There are more orders than supply in NH hence the 14,000 % payout...
Paying 1.7 BTC per TH.... jeez I can only squeeze 180 GHs from my 33 rigs.
The Pandaminer B1 is running at 10GHs  Tongue

whats a good DCR mining pool?
DCR I recall has a looong confirmation cycle.

Havent seen something like this since..... Phil?

Truly amazing numbers.

I am doing decred to nicehash  16 cards  all rx 480 8gb

power used 7.1 amps  at 240 volts that is  1704 watts

I am earning .037 btc with that per day

1704 watts of s-9 =  about 15th  which earns  about 0.00858

so 4x  the earning power  for the same power!!!

My R9 Nanos are doing just over 2GH/s per card!

There a lot of action going on in those 4GB HBM memory & 64 compute cores.

Can someone paste their Claymores string for DCR here? I have tried a bunch of pools and all DCR shares get rejected, while Eth is mined just fine. Even Sia or Pascal give no issues.

Thanks, is that working for you? I have a very similar combination of Ethpool and Supernova, and It starts with "DCR Authorisation Failed" following which all I get is 100% DCR Shares getting rejected.

i wound up with 100% rejects on nicehash when i specified -decri values. i deleted that setting (no -decri on command line) and shares started being accepted again.

kinda odd as before it dual mined dec with a -decri 60 setting no problem.

Interesting, why does it specifically hate me then Cheesy what wallet are you using for Dcred? Because I was trying to mine to a Polonix wallet, that could be causing the issue.
Edit : Tried Nicehash pool and a bitcoin wallet address. Do not get DCR Authorisation failed anymore, but still 100% rejected shares. Anyone have any clues?
