stop and just buy these

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202275

rx 480 8gb for 205 = fucking cheap

as for  1080 ti

if you are lucky and get a founders ed  which are skinny  it does 660 h  and costs 699

the ones above do 290 h   and cost 200

1080 ti  makes sense for me  because they save power

amd = 2h for 1 watt

nvidia = 3h for 1 watt

I also have buyers for my 1080 ti's lined up for later this year.

Wow that is a steal, they have the same price for the 4gb model atm.

I just barely added 3 x 470s and got them going.

But difficulty shot up yesterday so adding another one would help offset my coin reduction for anther week lolz.

I was searching for power supplies and found this site: http://www.parallelminer.com/product/2400watt-200v240v-power-supply-kit-for-2-antminer-r4-platinum-94-efficiency/

2400W platinum psu, 16 pcie port breakout board, $109 USD. Thoughts? Any suggestions on pico psu to power to mobo using this psu?

They've also got rebate going so it's right around 190 or so. 4G 480s have gone down to around 160 before on Newegg but not sure if they're running non moddable memory or not. Power color 470 cards also work pretty well but most of the cheap ones are one fan.

Newegg taxes me at 7 %. So 749 and 2 percent back the cards run about 735

Or 749 and six months to pay if I want that

I have plus and no plus sapphire models of 470/480 and you can mod all their memory.
I hate those rebates, they make you wait 2-3 months to get your money, just got my first $15 gift card from them.

You could get some pretty decent deals on cards when profit was bad but now they sell very fast and don't need to discount.  Aside from this 8gb model I assume wasn't selling that well and they just want to push the stock out for the 580s.  The non plus sapphire nitro 470 4gb was extremely popular as of late, it was going out of stock constantly online but I grabbed 3 of them on jet just before stock started disappearing and snagged em for $500 total.

Almost bought Msi 1080 ti card yesterday (for zec).
Two developments stopped me:
1. msi 1080 ti card is actually 2.5in in width. I measured it's size on the H97 mobo and it is probably would interfere with the front slot when in 16XPCIE slot according to my guesstimate. Maybe I could have can hanged it on a riser....oh, well, it is sold out at newegg now.
2. AMD RX 500 series will be released on Tue. Assuming even $250 price, they should mine zec at 330-350 h/s ea without any bios tweaks PLUS maybe 28-30 in eth. So, two cards will cost only $500 but perform as a $750 1080ti card (at least in zec).

you will be dissaponed in the RX500 , it might use less power than the 400 series but its just a referesh of the same gpu same number of cores etc , I still would wait to buy a 1080 Ti though since when vega comes out may or june or the 500 cards flood the market the 1080s, 1070s and even ti card should start getting more sales and discounts

My ti's  will earn 4 bucks a day  for days  before vega drops.

⅔ of april =  20 days
all of may = 31 days
all of june = 30 days

that is 81 days x 4 = 324 usd  take off  74 for power = 250 usd a card    so a 700 dollar 1080 ti will be at 450

Also in my case my power cost is going up on June 1. For 120 days.  Summer rates jump me from say 10 cents to 19 cents.

All my mobos are paid off.
I can sit them idol.
And reduce my gpus from 18 to 9.

Then buy Vega gpus in October

Does anyone have an recommendations for a 6 GPU board to go with a KabyLake Processor/DDR4 Ram. I had a TB85 ordered, but it came DoA and of course newegg is out of stock. I have 4 of my 6 cards running on a backup board, but I need something, because I just have 2 cards sitting collecting dust right now.

run out of circuits and/or load on circuits. Almost.
i still have about 350-380W available (conservatively), but it probably makes no sense to buy mobo/ssd/CPU/mem (at least $240) and only run one or two lower power cards on it, maybe like Zotac 1060 mini...see, I still want it  Cheesy.

One solution would be to move to 220V, but it was blocked by the better half.
Another solution would be to slowly start selling out 470/480 and replace them with 570/580.
I already bought three second hand 1080 (not ti) for about $430 ea. I figure that they will be worth about $300-350 in 6-9 mo, while ea can make $110/mo right now.

Is any public or custom ROM for Nvidia 1080ti cards?

Or in general - is it possible to mod them (or it is only for AMD cards)?
