Helium hasn't been released yet. You can buy SpreadCoin (SPR). There will be a snapshot date soon, probably within a few weeks. After this snapshot you are entitled to the same amount of Helium (HLM) as many SPR you had in a participating address (or Bittrex if they participate). So buy 1000 SPR and wait for the announcement. |

If the snapshot is the 31st or 1st and is does not have Bittrex support then they need to announce that ASAP.
The Spreadcoin wallet takes a day to download the blockchain so alot of people who have only coins on Bittrex and no local wallet would get F...ed
Taking that into account the most likely annoucement this week will be the snapshot is not happening this week.
or a more positive anoucement could be Bittrex fully supports snapshot and will list helium.
I think the best possible anouncement(for me) is they anounce Bittrex support and snapshot happens in two or three weeks. This would give more time for helium prospectors to buy more spreadcoin (and me more time to mine it.)

There was no announcement yet, but we can be sure that the snapshot won't happen this week, not even in the next two weeks. When it was postponed, we were told the snapshot date will be closer to the start date which takes the snapshot date roughly to middle of September. But you are right, it takes a day at least do download and sync the wallet. That's why I have already downloaded and start it up for an hour once in every other day just to keep it synced in case Bittrex won't participate. |

Even if your wallet is not synced, you can still see your address for receiving coins, can't you? If yes, then you can still send coins to your wallet, but you won't be able to see them until you are fully synced. If I am correct, then nobody is fucked so long as you can view your address. |

Even if your wallet is not synced, you can still see your address for receiving coins, can't you? If yes, then you can still send coins to your wallet, but you won't be able to see them until you are fully synced. If I am correct, then nobody is fucked so long as you can view your address. Exactly. You just have to pay a little attention so that you are aware of the snapshot  |

Dev has not announce when will be the snapshot and how we can redeem it . The best way to do right now is just sync the wallet as often and the rest will be waiting game. No pressure. |

Dev has not announce when will be the snapshot and how we can redeem it . The best way to do right now is just sync the wallet as often and the rest will be waiting game. No pressure. You do not need to sync the wallet, even run it is not necessary. It is enough to send SPR to your address and wait the snapshot. |

Not yet... We are still waiting for the announcement which is promised for this week. Now it is Wednesday, so a few more days and we will know what is happening in the background. But to be honest it doesn't really matter if Bittrex is participating or not in the swap process. We can do it without them as well, just keep your SPR in your own wallet in that case. |
