Are you going to mine with D3s? If yes, isn't it more profitable to mine Dash, sell it and buy HLM?

Hi Buddy,

Not sure I'm currently using my D3's on prohashing > paying out in Vertcoin and doing much better than just Dash atm.

What makes you think i would be better on Dash than just straight up mining mate?

If the difficulty starts low wouldn't mining be better?

I don't really know, but would like to know the answer.... All I know is as we speak, before the public launch, the Helium team is building up the difficulty to make sure it is high enough for the start.... Si I have no idea.

So that means it will be artificially inflated right from day one?

Why does difficulty need to be adjusted up for launch if Helium has implemented DGW as planned? Doesn't make sense to me.

Where exactly do you think all the HLM is going to come from that all SPR holders are due?  One can't just make it out of thin air.  Someone has to mine it, and then the accounts have to be funded.

Think of Topia.  They say all these users have HLM in their wallet.  Topia has to have HLM to back it up in their master wallet.

Right?

Apologies for not reading better about helium then.
However:
Since Dash's circulating supply is 7,647M, and spreadcoins supply is 8,991M, how are you going to accumulate 1,344 extra helium to compensate?
What happens to the unclaimed spreadcoin?
Is there going to be insight in how much premine is going to be kept?

I don't think this is a fork of Dash.  Just based on the same code.

Where does DASH come in? This is a 1:1 drop for SPR holders. So, 8.991m HLM will initially exist. On the very first page of this thread (ever read it?) it reads:

Quote
* Total Coin Supply 20m
* Block release is 7% per year

So, yeah, you are right, if the team stalls the release for 4 weeks, it can mine 0.8%. Whoop-dee-doop, what a scam. Considering this is an airdrop that has been months in the making.

PLEASE: before you come barging in with some accusations, at least do your home-work.

I dont understand this "Block reward: 45% miners; 45% master nodes; 10% project development funding". How much coin reward each block? and 45% mean 0.45 HLM or 45% block reward or 45% HLM mine in that block.

Each time a block is mined, 45% goes to the winning miner or pool. 45% is sent to the active masternodes and 10% is reserved for the treasury.

Because Helium is based on Dash's code. It is not a fork of the Dash blockchain but using Dash from Github to build Helium. It's not exactly a clone since it will have unique code and a different roadmap.

If you had your coin in your own SPR wallet, then you will get your coins after the public launch. Nobody has them now, not even on Cryptopia.
But you you had your coins in Bittrex or Yobit, they didn't support the snapshot, the SPR owners won't be eligible to equal amount of HLM.
