but in my wallet i see only 1.04 received. that means that i am loosing the rest?
after payout my Current Balance is always 0.00000000 BTC !

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

My payouts are 8 digits. Are you still using a pretty old bitcoin client version? It doesn't support less-than-0.01 transactions. You should update your client.

I'm planning on doing a large update in about an hour.  It will probably require downtime of at least 1 hour as well.

This is mostly a back-end upgrade, but you will notice some changes on the site as well.  Registration will still be disabled until I see how things perform after it is all complete.

Update complete, it appears mostly successful Tongue  Not too many visible changes, but a lot of changes on the back end.  This should mean that we are ready to open up registrations again, but I'm going to wait until the pool gets some more testing with current members.

We found a block within minutes of the pool being back online Smiley

Hello, I am about to open registrations again Smiley  They should be open within 15 minutes.  I've completed a lot of performance improvements (I hope) over the past week or so.  Lets see what we can handle!

There is still no mandatory fee, but this is subject to change in the future.  I would of course give ample notice if this happened.  Meanwhile, I appreciate everyone's donations!  Grin

I still haven't done all the math, but the pool is about breaking even at the current donation rate, hashrate, and server costs.  However, I think I am still in red if you consider the 14 BTC starting bounties, etc.  Just for those curious.

I was doing some adding of wallet balances, buffer, etc, and noticed something strange.  An extra 50 BTC?? Again? So, it turns out my software is still a little holey and likes to hide blocks from me.

Guess what?  We now have our second block found that didn't show up in stats.

http://blockexplorer.com/tx/46a774ee1e49096d1ef25dafed0da4be39c9b9fbf720c63e492787aee2803e87

    {
        "account" : "",
        "category" : "generate",
        "amount" : 50.07450000,
        "confirmations" : 717,
        "txid" : "46a774ee1e49096d1ef25dafed0da4be39c9b9fbf720c63e492787aee2803e87",
        "time" : 1311428702
    },

This block was found just 4 minutes 30 seconds BEFORE we found a different block, 137641, which DID show up in the stats properly.  I don't know what the share count would have been, but 137641 was a VERY fast block, the one that didn't show up was actually the longer block, 137638.

The bug that caused this is actually different from the one that caused the last problem: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=18567.msg350556#msg350556.  I'll work on a fix.

So, once again, 50 BTC has been added to the SMPPS buffer, taking the current confirmed BTC from 3,050 to 3,100 (had some people in IRC watch me do this.)

*Edit* people were asking who found it, nickname "NetTecture" found the missing block.

What happened to the "Shares This Round" data on the left side of every page?

There is a link to detailed share data in 'My Stats', but 'shares this round' is still on the left.

Looks to be running really smoothly since the update, and it seems our lucky streak is holding up still. Grin

I've only noticed one thing that's funky and even then it's only aesthetic. The "Current Day Shares" column differs for me between what's shown on the Pool Stats page and the Lifetime stats page.

stats.php:
http://stryfeonline.net/images/arsbitcointop40.gif

statsAll.php:
http://stryfeonline.net/images/arsbitcoinlifetime.gif

But really that's just nitpicking. I love this pool.

I think he is talking about personal shares this round.  That did indeed disappear with the latest update.  Because shares in the current round don't matter for payment in SMPPS, I made the optimization to just show shares on a per-day basis.  To make up for taking some data away, I added more detailed per-worker, per-day statistics here: https://arsbitcoin.com/workerHistory.php.

On the "My Stats" page it says "Paid PPS Work at 0:00 7/32 = 1.1577588253104047"

I'm grateful for the payout but I didn't know I was mining on July 32nd!

It's the revised Julian calendar where August is part of, and comes before July Grin
