Look at the depth charts across Binance and EtherDelta it looks good, there is way more demand than supply on the markets if i was a whale with a lot of cash i'd be really pissed that there are only afew thousand PPT on the order books, If you were a whale wanting more than that you would be screwd....

 and i bet there are afew whales that do want alot more than what is available on the markets right now,  So my guess is they are purposely trying to keep the price where it is to accumulate more PPT, they have those giant buy orders and are just waiting for the week hands to sell to them. That's how whales do it when there isn't enough liquidity to suite their appetite.  Trying to stop the price from moving in an attempt to fear the weak hands into selling to them. Seeing as they cant buy what they want they'll try push all of us to sell to them.    NOT HAPPENING BUDDY

You have an interesting idea. However, as soon as I bought the coins for 2 bitcoins, the course immediately collapsed. Instantly. As if everyone was waiting for me. I did something stupid.

Clif High told me to hodl for $1000/coin by June. That's what I'm doing especially when I see this newbie account on his hands and knees. I have no incentives to dump because of passive income investments in multiple coins. Populous is leading the pack and has highest value proposition.

So I think most of us are asking what is the value of PPT when measured by traditional means. I'm going to take a stab. I appreciate comments on my ramblings and rough math:

For example, if you can buy a share/token for $1 and earn 3% per year, what will an investor pay for that stock plus $.03 annual earnings? 10x earnings is probably not unreasonable, so probably about $.30 give or take.

We'll ignore a supply/demand imbalance in the auction which would presumably also affect the interest rate and assume we can earn 2% monthly interest (24% annual interest)reliably. Let's also assume that you can use 80% of the current PPT market value to buy an invoice. For example, an $8k invoice would require $10k of PPT.

PPT is about $46 at the moment. 24% of 80% of $46 is $8.80.

Using a Dividend Discount Model with a Discount Rate of 2%, the calculated value per "share" is $440.

The interesting thing is that as the value of the token increases, the value of the earnings increase at the same rate. So a $440 PPT token would supposedly yield $88 annually. This then yields a token dividend valuation of $4408. So there is no limit to what PPT is worth except the actual ability to actually earn 2%.

The ability to earn 2% monthly interest depends on the supply of invoices and auction conditions achieving a consistent 2% monthly interest rate.

Not enough invoices, lower interest rate results in lower returns. Too many invoices results in higher returns.

The DDM doesn't take into account additional value due to anticipated increase in token price.

There are 37M tokens, so to achieve a $1000 token price, each token needs to be able to earn $19.20 interest annually. This requires a supply of $3.7B of invoices available that you can earn 2% monthly on.

That isn't to say that the DDM is accurate of valid, just one attempt at valuing PPT. Once people are able to see what real returns look like, and if they are close to these assumptions then $1000+ is no problem.

This is a great analysis, Populous is such a unique use case for Blockchain.  It serves a large multi trillion dollar market with a product that will always have a purpose. The fact that PPT is already valued at $50 only says that this project is going to moon once everyone knows about it, I've only seen afew youtubers mention it and they have a relatively small subscriber base. I have seen some people mentioning around that PPT is a sleeping giant, and I have to agree.

What are you talking about? The ICO ended successfully ages ago.  Why are you trading PPT? your PPT should be stored in a hardware wallet waiting for the platform to go live

Because you literally earn interest off of the invoices that you finance. You win no matter what. And as the value of your PPT goes up you'll be able to finance way more invoices and get even higher interest payouts

Populous is still a pretty low key project, glad they are dedicating time to the development of the platform first, once they start a proper marketing campaign this thing is going to absolutely explode

Most of the ETH based tokens are down today probably because soon ETH will be trading at .1 BTC we will be back in track in no time.

Yeah most of the exchanges are slammed with too many customers including Binance. As soon as the gears get unjammed and populous platform running we will be slammed. Eth was my gateway drug to THE populous

Of course this is a great project, it will certainly succeed. Now almost all projects that offer a reward for social media because it helps a lot for the development of coin, people know more about the coin.
