I wish Liverpool would sign a damn midfielder. Thiago has a hamstring injury for 6 weeks now. Henderson is getting less & less influential as time goes on. We have a great defence, goalkeeper & forwards, comparable to anything in Europe tbh but midfield really need freshening up. Not long to go in the transfer window now but I live in hope.

Yes, it's a bad situation for Barcelona but it would happen if De Jong and Aubameyang were able to move to Chelsea. What Barcelona problem was said above, financial and La Liga rule is they will be faced if the if forced to transfer. They were after Cucurella but they withdrew from the deal which made things easier for Chelsea to sign him. And now Manchester City have almost completed the signing of Sergio Gomez from Anderlecht for the position. He is another great choice for them by the way. His performance last season was impressive. He just needs to adapt well to Guardiola's strategies and that's it. He can do as good as Cucurella then.

Stupid move if they continue to hold this player. Currently Chelsea are reportedly ready to spend 72 million pounds just for De Jong and this means the same as MU's previous offer.

The signing of Frenkie De Jong is going to be a bad one for Chelsea because I do not think he will put any positive impact on the club. Chelsea is negotiating deals to sign players for both sides, including defenders and strikers. Wesley and Aubameyang should be the main focus. Wesley is vital to their current and future defensive lines because they have an aging central defensive line. Deals are good only if they can all be accomplished.
