Why did Messi pick Inter Maimi over Barcelona. Why? American clubs is a place where players go to retire to end their career and be either a coach or a football pundit like Thierry Henry. The only player I know who moved there and moved out successfully to the Italian league is Ibrahimovic who just retired from football. America is not suitable for Messi , he is going to fad into oblivion. What more can I say than wish him the best in the future.

Well, he must have picked Inter Miami to move to over Barcelona for a reason. And it's purely his business. Perhaps he did go over there to retire or he may be weary of competitive football which he would surely engage in if he moves over to either Barcelona or Saudi Arabia and he may just want to continue to enjoy playing football without all the craze and completion attached to it and he he feels he can get that at Inter Maimi.

Even if he would obviously get paid much more elsewhere, he decided to go where he truly wants to go. I wish him all the best and even though he may not be in the spotlight like he used to, I doubt he would fade into oblivion. 

I think Messi wants to end his career, now he is 35 years old and physically will decline and it will have a big effect on his performance, Messi has got everything he wants and now he wants to enjoy the remaining few seasons before retiring, Inter Miami is not a bad choice.

I think Messi is trying to be realistic now and he didn't want to make a blunder that would put him in the same situation a second time. We all know that he left Barcelona because Barcelona's financial situation was in turmoil and Barcelona has no option other than having to sell Messi. Messi knows how he will end his professional football career. and returning to Barcelona was not the right choice for him. Messi doesn't think about money, but there are rumors that there are problems with people at the club. so he refused to return to Barcelona.

We agree with the list that Arsenal must sell in the transfer window later. but IMO, Partey is still very much needed by the young Gunners squad. At the very least, the Gunners must have mature players, not all young ones. after all, Partey could also be rotated into defender if Arteta wanted to, he has proven that.
As for Xhaka, this season his appearance and contribution have been very instrumental for Arsenal compared to the previous season. Rumors have it that Xhaka will leave for Leverkusen. maybe this is the right choice for him, if in the end Arteta brings in a newcomer, his potential replacement.

Other than that, Gundohan is an ideal choice even though he is already 32 years old. However, he can still be relied on and can even become a role model for the Gunners' young squad. rumor has it, Arsenal have offered a two-year contract and a lucrative proposal. we'll see if he will accept Arsenal's offer, or stay with Manchester City.
Caicedo, most likely he will go to Chelsea. because, Chelsea have also revived their interest in the Brighton midfielder.

He did the right thing not going back to Barcelona, just as you mentioned Ronaldo did the mistake of going back to Manchester United for the love and respect he has for the club but it didn’t end well for him. It will never end well because Messi and Ronaldo are not young anymore and the fans still expect them to play as if they are in their 20s. Ronaldo scored 18 league goals for united and they still think he under performed, he was the team’s highest goal scorer and the third overall league goal scorer and all this was not enough because he didn’t dribble the whole field as he used to. As Messi's manager and father, he placed a higher priority on Messi playing for Barcelona rather than joining a Saudi club. It's still kind of an odd choice. The team is frankly weak even by MLS standards and are currently in last place.

Honestly, the decision is surprising, in part, because Messi is leaving Paris Saint-Germain, while declining offers that may be more enticing. So why would Messi pass over an unimaginable payday for a chance to play for a struggling MLS team? The simple answer: He has more to consider than just salary. Also I think Messi wants to maximize his current endorsement deals with Adidas and Apple, both of which have relationships with MLS and stand to gain more exposure. So there are more hidden stuff to this MLS move than we all know.

I think Messi decided to rejoin Barcelona to play for few more seasons and leave the club amicably with a proper send forth unlike his last unceremoniously exist to PSG which caused some rift between the club and him, of course his entire playing career was spent in Barcelona thus should be rewarded with a club legend status when he finally quit accepting a paycut to rejoin a club that made him a star isn't a bad idea of course other players could be tempted with mouth watering contract offered by the Saudi Arabian clubs, personally I think Messi return to Barcelona wouldn't bear any consequence rather both parties will benefit.

This is an opportunity for Messi to become the highest-paid sportsman in the world. I am not sure this opportunity will be as lucrative as it is now next year. He needs to move now that he is highly needed. Messi is already a legend in Barcelona and he has won everything. His return might be even disastrous because he might not have all the attention he use to have. After all, Robert  Lewandowski is now the key player. Maybe he can return to Barca after two years in the SPL league and take up a managerial job.

I understand those who want to see something emotional, that's the feeling we all have. I agree that if he went to Barcelona and played like 1-2 more seasons there and retire there it would be something to see, hell I didn't want him to leave in the first place so it would be normal for people to see him there.

However, I agree that we are talking too emotionally, and this is just way too much money we are talking about that can't be rejected. If he is actually offered 1 billion a year, which I still decline to believe, I think it must be a lot less than that, I mean the money he receives must be a lot smaller than that, but if it's anything even remotely true, like even if he gets 500 million a year, it would be very very stupid to reject that, it's insane amount of money.

I believe Messi made a very wise decision his future and career and inuding that of his family. No player has an everlasting affirmity with any club and it was just a contract between Messi and Barcelona.
There's no doubt that Barcelona has done alot for Messi and his family and I'm return Messi has done alot for Barcelona in terms of commitment and hard work. These two parties may never meet again in the football world. I am happy for Messi that he didn't make same mistake that Ronaldo made with Manchester United.

He decided like a good father and husband. Though the financial part of this proposed contract has not been revealed but I doubt if it will be bigger than the offer in Saudi Arabia. The decision he took might be after he has considered the social implication of his decision. The US is a freer society which means his wife, children, and family members will be able to adapt to the demands of society.

The US Major League might also offer more endorsement opportunities because the country has the biggest economy in the world. If I were Messi I would never return to Barcelona because I cannot guarantee that my performance can match my records. He might return and start having issues with the club and players due to poor performance or other issues which could taint his hard-earned reputation. It is better to remain a legend than to gamble with Barcelona.
