I also believe that Arsenal is actually going to regret a lot if they make this transfer with a hundred million and eventually the player ends up not being worth the money. Because I believe Arsenal does not have the money like Manchester City to spend. I think competition for players at the top of premier league is a tough one because teams are willing to spend unreal amounts of money for players. Even though some teams spend a lot more than others, the top teams are all spending more than everyone else combined, this causes players to have inflated values, players worth 30-40 million started to go for 80-100 million instead.

This is why it looks bad for teams to do badly when they end up spending that much, but in fact they are not getting players worth as much as they are spending, that's why the bad results happen.
