Problem with ICO is when it hits exchange it can dump and investor who buy through crowdsale will have less reward than those who wait to buy on exchange for half the price. You will probably get twice as much NVO on exchange when it trades for same amount spent through crowdsale. Not saying this will happen here but look at notable ICO's like waves platform etc.
This is what happens to most of the ICOs, but NVO is made to be held, not traded.
Took a few hours for the website to update for me. What you gave was your public key, when they distribute the NVO you must find your private key and import that to their website. Just be patient for the BTC you deposited to show up though.
The Dashboard on NVO.IO doesn't track the Bitcoins deposits, it is not required because of the escrow address, anyone can check the state of its transaction on the blockchain directly. The most important is not to send from wallet services like blockchain.info, coinmama or exchanges like poloniex, bittrex, or services like gambling. The bitcoins must be sent from the entered address on the dashboard, and this address have to be a private bitcoin address whom you own the private key. Because you will receive the Tokens into the address you send from.
I have sent from https://wallet.counterwallet.io/after exporting the private key. I hope this is OK otherwise please instruct me what can I do to resolve the problem? Thanks. Nothing more to instruct, you did it the right way.
When will the ICO end?
OP said that it will end at June 27 UTC 2:00, but now the web nvo.io still shows more than 8 hours to the end.
That's because of time convertion, the most important is to follow the timer.
I like this project very much (i hope all developement will be smooth also)
One thing that i like a lot is the fixed value of $0.99 for NVOS.
Why?
just think of classical exchanges, almost all have BTC/everyothercoin, only a small part have BTC/FIAT
and obviously not "everyothercoin/FIAT", this suck because you are subject to BTC ups and downs, even
if your "everycoin" is stable.
NVOS = a cash backed currency you can use like FIAT in every moment the market is crashing (if someone is willing to take the risk to buy "everycoin" in a crash offering NVOS)
But i haven't understand what Nemgun mean on safenet forum:
Q: @tonbi, @nemgun - We are told NVOS has a fixed value of $0.99 - If the distributable amount of NVOS is $0.05 (Five Cents) for a user holding some NVOT. How much NVOS is actually distributed to the NVOT holder?
A: @yippeeyo I like your question, this is how the NVOT price will rise, for now the price of NVOT is around 0.33-0.4$ The NVOS will be divisible, with a fixed value of 0.99$, which means that you can 0. NVOS
I meant that, NVOS have decimals, so you can receive 0.12345678 NVOS
Will the altcoins be converted after the current correction is over? All rates are very unfavorable right now so I hope the escrows will wait a few days untill we have seen a restoration?
I am in doubt about sending Ether because of todays rate.
The token price will be calculated at the end of the crowdsale, it is sad that it happens during a crash, even more regarding ETH.
You are right.
Regarding Hardware Wallets, we know that Ledger nano is compatible, for Trezor, it is not yet possible. We are still having issues with Ripple into the API, but as long as it is confirmed into a block explorer there is no problem as it is under the controle of the escrows (Blazed for Ripple).

Hey guys, I sent ETH from Coinbase to the escrow address provided and supplied my private BTC wallet address. The transaction on coinbase shows confirmed with 52+ confirmations but in my NVO.io dashboard ETH next to my private contribution ETH address still shows 0.00 ETH. What does this mean??? Any help will be much appreciated!

This is what happens to most of the ICOs, but NVO is made to be held, not traded. That happens mostly to investors who dump as soon as the token gets listed. NVOT is a long term play. Checkout https://icostats.com/roi-since-ico which tracks performance against USD, BTC, and ETH.

Three more hours to go and I believe NVO is already a successful venture. I guess everyone wanted a Decentralized Exchange and Multi wallet. Continuing my support from Twitter. Lets the countdown begin.

Lets the countdown begin. Yes, and I believe that NVO is already successful just on the first week of the crowdsale. It is no doubt a wonderful concept and the engagement of many investors is the very proof of that.

Well I couldn't quite double my investment but I did do an extra 80% or so.
I'll be a promoter and an investor for NVO. You can count on that.

What is the value for dash or litecoin in comparison to bitcoin, considering the change in price of the altcoins, in report to BTC, during the ICO ?
Is it the price in ltc/btc or ltc/usd, and also, is it at the time of deposit or at the time when the ICO ends ?
Please enlighten us.

It's been answered multiple times and it's even in the FAQs now. They'll sell everything for bitcoins after the ICO is over. The rate will depend on the price then.

I participated in the NVO crowdsale sending btc using Electrum Wallet. The address that was used to send from is now erased ( Electrum does this and I did not realize before it was too late). This means that I do not longer control it. The tokens will therefore be sent to an address I do not have the private key to. What do I do? Can I change recieving address?

Any help will be much appreciated! It takes 1 hour on average, but it can take longer. There is absolutely no need to concern yourself with numbers on the dashboard. Just stay calm and look tomorrow. is it always like this that? i can't see the amount of BTC i transfered to the escrow address?
Yes, there is no BTC balance on the dashboard. will i no receive my tokens on two addresses?
If you send from address A, then you get tokens on address A (for Bitcoin obviously). Optimally you'd only use 1 address to avoid having to keep safe multiple keys.
No. Electrum does not delete anything, it merely *hides it*. Learn how to export the private key from Electrum (which is what you should have done before even investing).

That's where I'm sending my BTC from. As long as you have the private key you're good to go. You'd better send that as a priority payment though!

You needed to send your bitcoins from your address to the address at the bottom of the OP. If you know your private key that's all you need. You don't ever need to tell someone else your private keys in any instance.
It looks like the ICO is over! I'll do a tally of the results in terms of BTC and USD. BTC2,894.30425629$7,140,798.51808 Or $0.476053234667/ BTC0.00019295 per NVOT. Someone may want to double check my math though.

Hey, I sent some ripple today about 5 hours ago, but it still doesn't show any change to my balance. I also noticed that the counter on top of nvo.io is stuck at 562663.70 XRP.
I sent Ripple over 12 hours ago and it still has yet to show up...I'm getting nervous. Can someone from NVO please address this? Because you seem to be ignoring these concerns
