6 weeks ago i bought 6x 1080ti + 6x 1070 gtx.

now everything is going down and down, less and less profitable ..... to be honest i am getting worried  Undecided

Does the still math work out were you can recover your costs in 6-7 months.

Of course this may change, for better or worse.

Waiting for my 1080ti to arrive.
A lot of people say that i should had gone for the 1070's.

But in long term and only with a 130dollar price range between the 2 i think 1080 was the best.
Not only in terms of mining but when the market wil get filled by used GPU's there will be less ti's.

dude people who bought 1070's had to build TWICE as many rigs to have the same hash

they already lost in the extra cost of whole new rigs Smiley

AND 1070 owners profits are dropping damn near daily, while 1080ti still looks GOOOD for months

1070 were boss 6+months ago, and up to maybe 30 days ago, but their time is over IMO

1080ti all the way, till Volta and RX vega

I've seen people say that RX Vega will not be good at mining due to the HBM2 memory.

My 2 1080Tis are starting to dislike Zpool, so low daily profit going the multi-algo way Sad

0.001 x 100 is already a profit. so why mining.. lol

the private miner model applied to public is really make no sense. sure it will benefits mining farm. but if mining farm come to mine this, and sell it to turn to cash or btc, all crashed immediately. so back to ground zero or below....

One guy on the AMD reddit showed 2600h/s on Monero with his private optimizations. Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/6lz1q6/vega_owners_club/

Remember vega is going to be mainstream, it will be optimized in the future. Also rx480 started with 22mh/s, but we could easily mod it to 30+, even if it took a month or two of experimentation.

I'm getting one rig of Vega for testing.

1080Ti is not optimised as well at this time

I would say that there is a lot more to squeeze out from this beast of a card

The problem of the 1080 is that the memory configuration is not suitable for some coins.

it is ~1100hs, those 2600 is with 4 different cards, one is vega(1100hs), so nothing special about Vega.

So _at this time_ it is still making 15 usd per day? Can we see proof first?

Anyone try mining Hush or Komodo?

Hows the experience? Might be a bit late on peak profit but if it is still reasonable maybe can try.

I'm earning less than 5 euros per day with my 1080Ti. I wish there was a way to earn more... That's why I asked.

hush i think falls into that  "mine and hold, hope for a x3 a bit later" catagory Smiley i think it could see 0.003 again, but damn it's hard to just mine and hold everything 100% unless you a big farm or just str8 baller haha

I mined it for a while with 1080ti tho, did great, was thinking of mining hush again actually
Komodo i like too,ti's do it great but it seems to have a YUGE nethashrate that permanently sticks there :/ rewards for smaller miners kinda suk in pools i find :/

Anyone check out dual-mining yet on their 1080ti's?  i was gonna wait for ROI on mine i hear it's pretty hard on the chips long term
