The hashrate doesn't change whether my memory is set to 0, -500, -1000, -2000, etc so why -500?

It lowers your power consumption while costing you no loss in hashing power. I doubt your card will actually be running at -2000 if you set it to that...

I got 3 1080ti (palit super jetstream) and the difference in temp is sometimes more then 10°C between the cards. I'm using a frame built for 6 cards and im only using 3 so i got a lot of space between each card. Also I connect the screen to the motherboard and not the card. Anyone else who have the same experience?

As of now when mining zen the temps are as follows:

Gpu1=68
Gpu2=62
Gpu3=58

I'm not sure the actual reason but gpu1 always seems to run hotter than the rest.

6 cards/2 850W PSUs is a good balance and about the recommended limit per 15A circuit.
Sometimes is nice to live in europe

Anyone- with 1x1080ti - try watching youtube videos whilst-mining?

lol some days it' lags so much that pc is unusable to watch video. I'd tried clean installation and didn't make a difference -funny thing is -this wasn't an issue with my single 1080 lol and 1080ti gives me issues.

Have you measured how much electricity is actually saves? Why not set to -1000?

What is the hash rate for each card?

What pool are you using?

does someone have a 8x 1080 Ti rig? what psu are you using?

These work very well - 2400w and 94% platinum efficiency.  $159 + around $40 for the ATX adapter from Parallel Miner.  Link is below.

We now have these running our 8x 1080 Ti rigs by themselves, without the additional power supply and they seem to run just fine.

If reduce the intensity you'll lose some hashrate but the pc won't lag. In the first place you shouldn't do anything while mining but if you gotta do it, reduce the intensity of the miner to make the card run at 95% and give you some headroom to do other things.

I've been using HP DPS-1200s, three per machine in parallel with s8 TIs.  Only really need 2 but the extra one provides insurance.  Currently working on a hotswap enclosure/backplane to fit in standard server chassis....

Just tried CCMiner 2.2.1, very little improvement that I can detect, seems that update was for improved Tribus algo performance...
One thing to note about my previous post about the PSUs is that if you use multiple smaller PSUs you can split them between circuits.  When I install 240V power, these PSUs will produce 1200w apiece as apposed to the 900w they give me now...

2psu per 8 1080 ti rig
Evga 1000 g3 and some 1800 watt from aliexpress
The one from ali makes more noise,since it's fan have no speed control,but they both are good psus

Aren't you worried about the nonbrand 1800W PSU ? You can afford 1080ti and can't afford decent PSU ? Isn't it like buying nice sportscar and installing the oldest and ugliest rims and tyres ?

It's worse than that; it's like buying a nice car except with worn tread tires, old break pads, fucked up suspsension... and then taking it rally racing.

Look into the eyes.
