Not sure if anyone cares about my story.
But I once had a garage when I was 18 years old.
Because of my age, I was more in to partying and inviting friends to my garage.
And because I did let everyone in my garage, things got stolen from my garage,
like high end project cars and expensive engine blocks and therefore I had a debt of 75k usd.
People were calling me a scammer and my build up ´rep' was completely gone.

A few years later I changed my mind and I did grow up.
I wish I could go back in time and fix the things I did do wrong.
But unfortunately, with the experience and knowledge I have now, I still can't start a new garage.
Because people still call me a scammer, that name will never changed, even though I never scammed anyone.
I just made some wrong decisions when I was young.

I can find my self in Carson's early days.
He seems to be honest, but he made a few mistakes in the past.
Give him the chance to fix it right now without disappointing us and to prove that the trolls are wrong.

I read your story.  You didn't start a new garage.  Carson did.  In fact he's running the garage the exact same way so far.  With a huge premine.  He is abusing Coinmarketcap.com default view and fooling a lot of new investors.

Coinmarketcap: circulating supply 120,739 - Marketcap: $179,756 (Wow that's a low marketcap let me get in early!)
Actual Circulating supply... Carson says he only has 690k left... so there's 310k(probably haven't been distributed yet though) + 120,739 mined = 430,739 in circulation plus 690,000 coins Carson is allowed to sell at anytime.
Actual Market Circulating Supply: 430,739 - Marketcap: $644,893    with Carson holding another 1,033,000 market cap worth of DNR that isn't being counted... coinmarketcap.com is fooling a lot of new investors.

So, let's say he dumps his coins now, drops the market back down to a few satoshi's... Coin lives on people get in cheap, 3, 4 years from now, this coin can still be around, at this point we don't need Carsen and a new dev could start working on the client at anytime with it being open source. So few coins and only 3 years PoW... It will be worth a lot more.

Unless you have AMD cards, you should skip this tutorial.
AMD cards are not supported on new Linux distributions. Just saying, took me a week to figure that out Tongue

The tutorial is for ccminer, the miner for nvidia cards.

But new AMD cards are supported on linux. I am mining on RX480 on ubuntu 16.04.

Old cards such as the 280x is not supported, though.

I am very interested in the DNR coins, that I have seen in nova is so amazing. But is there any other way than a signature campaign.because my computer is low for mining. thank so much.

I should say that this isn't really Carson's fault that coinmarketcap is broken...

I don't think he would do that actually.  With age comes responsibility.  When I started in crypto I would get scared and dump to exit. Experience has taught me to create a pump to exit instead.

TL:DR I don't recommend anyone hold this long.  I actually feel more comfortable with not knowing a dev at all, than knowing better and going along with it anyway.

i like the new algo, look very similar to nist5, i get almost the same hash in both algo with my 1080ti, the profit is not bad, well now everything is less profitable but still satisfying, this look similar to veltor, which unfortunately was dumped because of the dev acting stupid, i hope will not happen to this too, and we can go to 100k satoshi

I agree, 40 MH/s on a 1070 undervolted at 100W is much higher than I was making on any other coin.

I have (6) XFX Radeon 480 8 GB cards. I can not get sgminer-x64-5.3.7 to run on my Windows 10 machine. I can get a different version of sgminer to run and mine, but each card is only getting 15 mh/s which is half of what it gets when mining ETH. Any suggestions why I can't get the optimized version to run? When I run the .cmd file, a few things flash by but I can't read them and then I am taken back to the c:\ prompt. I am using AMD 16.9.2 drivers.

This is the dnr.cmd file:
@echo off
echo "starting up sgminer"

@setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
@setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
@setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
@setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

Call :start

pause
GOTO ENDE

:start

@set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT = 100

DEL /F *.bin
sgminer.exe -c sgminer-dnr.conf -d 0
EXIT /B 0

:ENDE

and this is the sgminer-dnr.conf file:

@tpruvot was kind enough to release another optimized version of sgminer x64 w/ Tribus support for Windows! v5.3.8

http://ccminer.org/preview/sgminer-x64-5.3.8.zip

Give that a try all you AMD miners! You should see roughly a 10% improvement.

Hi Carsen, I have seen some of comments around, for what I heave learned, there is a lot of envy on crypto world, devs and investors
from other projects go to bash competition all of time, troll boxes on exchanges getting literally rammed with bs, I think you are a really
honest man and for saying truth you get on trouble in the past, that happens a lot to me as well, people use your honesty to discredit
you and that sucks, I know about that, liars know how discredit truth, for what I have seen in this project, looks awesome, nice wallets,
mine sync and stacking properly since day one I installed, coin moves real fast from to exchanges as well, I think you may even have
next ETH in your hands, (market wise), so do not listen to envy, to trolls, to liars, keep up the great work you doing and you will have full support from this community, thanks

remove the -d 0 part from the boot up as that tells sgminer to only mine with the 1st card
otherwise i don't see anything wrong there

you could mine on some other pools as well, ccminer has the lions share of the network hash and it helps to spread it around Smiley

You sure about that. We could all use this free no fee app and we all have the same hashrates from or you think we should all use a fee based miner that we all have the same hashrates from. If everyones hashrate doubled you will still receive the same payout.

You may want to try a different version of your drivers, I get the best results on 17.5.1, but others have reported older versions work better, so it is a bit hit and miss currently.

Also you may want to play with your intensity settings, 16 through 19 should be good

tpruvot just updated 5.3.8 again, give it a download and try it out Smiley

Same download link, also try mining on a pool other than ccminer, we need to spread the hashrate more and hashbag.cc is a good one!

Denarius dropped to 0,47 usd today  Huh what did happen?

Also, on trollbox someone posted this link?

https://www.reddit.com/r/darknet/comments/6lvyyj/hiring_developers_and_moderators_for_freedom/

Is this the end of Denarius? If yes , then this might be the last time i've invested in crypto's.
Already lost 200usd on Onix, 150usd on Briacoin and now 350usd on Denarius  Sad
And now i'm also waiting for my first electric bill because of my day and night mining...
Is there any coin worth investing?

@TRHM - You are looking at Denarius too short term. It looked like a early bounty holder decided to dump coins this morning causing the price to drop a lot, seems like a non-believer, but the price has recovered fairly quickly and seems to be slowly going back up.

If that news is true, awesome!...We have no affiliation with them though, so if they choose to add Denarius, that is great!
