Insomuch that it seems love no longer exists peripherally, one only has to search deeply to find hearts still embedded with love. I do not mean Eros or the filial type of love, but the unconditional type of love that we all who have known the love of God have experienced. Once in a long while, we still see individuals who love others unconditionally as exemplified by their abilities to keep loving under near impossible circumstances.

A woman whose only child was murdered by fundamentalist, yet has neither a word of rebuke or a malicious intent. Another whose husband has maltreated and yet forgave and has loved nonetheless. That fellow whose debt is cancelled because the man owed realised he hasn't the capacity to pay back.

Those love comes by rarely and far in between, we still find men (and women) who still bear the love of God that is found in Christ Jesus in their hearts.

Perhaps the reason why we're going through all these blunders is because we tend to think that love is none existent. You're right that at this time, hate is everywhere and it influences a lot of people. But the only thing that can negate hate is love and it's not hard to find if we really look for it.

Love is much more than simple 'a sum of chemical reactions in the brain''.
You are not just your physical body but also your spirit, your spiritual body.
Your physical body needs food in order to survive and to grow but your spiritual body needs love in order to survive and to grow.
So, your spiritual self (connected with God) pushing you to share your hearth and love with others.
If you don't follow your spiritual self, you die spiritually.
We can see love in so many forms and ways around the world, so we can't deny it.
