The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Bitcoin wallets are pretty secured, however, hackers will stop at nothing to get easy cash. Phising is one of the most common ways to access a victim's wallet, it is not technically hacking, we should be aware of what it is, nonetheless.  The ones that worked for me are 2FA and cold storage. I heard multi signatures worked of other people.

Yes, is it possible . They can find entry point on that. There are many hackers out there, but if you know how to take care of your self, this can be prevented. Just know the basic securities in the internet, always remember "THINK BEFORE YOU CLICK". Always don't trust anyone here in the internet.

Its up to you on how you handle your wallet, just to be sure you need to keep your private key on a safe place and avoid entering a phishing site that will hack your computer.

No bitcoin wallets can not be hacked, considering that they all are protected by some stability meassures that makes it unhackable, for case in point all wallets have your personal crucial that is your seed, the only way it can be hacked is if any individual understands your key.so no, bitcoin wallets can not be hacked
The hackers simply not targetting directly the wallet because it will just wasting their time trying to find a bug or a hole but they could just trying to steal the users' credentials or information to access the wallet. However, one more important thing, no system is secure same goes for wallet, but privkey is secure, because it's protected by encrpytion that need really so much time to get decrypted.

Yeah, it is definitely possible. It could even be close to 100% especially if your bitcoin wallet is not secure enough. But, if your bitcoin wallet is strictly secured, the chances may become lower than 1%, considering that there are still some things that a professional hacker can't hack even if they are expert. I think that in order to ensure that your bitcoin wallet is safe make sure that the website of your bitcoin wallet is safe. You can also read some feedbacks from user to see if their website is secured.

Yes it is, all bitcoin wallet can hacked by the hackers, but it depend on us on how we gonna defense or secured our wallet from the hackers, We can prevent our wallet to be hacked if we will dont post on social media sites all our earnings, because we all know that in the social media there are many hackers and dont be showy about our earnings so the hackers will not have an interest with our wallet.

It's hard to protect your wallet if the hacker really wants to attack us, they have a lot of hacking into our system if they want to.

Nothing is actually 100% safe. Hackers/scammers are currently stealing coins from people. Sometimes they do it with a wallet stealer thats mostly on pirated files. If you download this file.

Your wallet will easily be stolen. The wallet stealer will upload the files that he has found to the hacker. Sometimes even a link is enough to steal your coins. Always check your url before opening a link from someone. This is not fake, because Myetherwallet warns people on their site to check always their urls.

With bitcoin security is a major issue for which users fear about. Hackers were found all around, but when it comes to bitcoin lot were found roaming because if stolen, it's lost forever. We cannot do anything or raise a complaint. Same time wallet services too go as a scam taking away the funds of users. So it's our own responsibility to safeguard in the better way possible.

How to secure bitcoin in the wallet yes the only use all the security features provided by the wallet provider, if we have used all the security features must be bitcoin in our wallet will be awake from the thieves unless we are alert to have given some key like a private key is not deliberately, and I suggest also always thorough because now a lot of phishing sites.

if you wanna have a better security, i would recommend to have a multi signature wallet (the address with prefix of 3 instead of 1). in case of possibility of being hacked, they need certainly large amount of computing power which consumes all the possible energy in the Earth as there are more than googol (IIRC) of possible combinations and not all the private key is valid for bitcoin address.

I also very sensitive to talk about security and hacking. Its very important thing.
You recommend to use multy signature wallet, what is that mean? So sorry for my bad question.

For me, I choose hardwallet or create a Bitcoin wallet in a PC do not have any virus and put all my Bitcoin in this wallet, then print my private key to paper and finally, remove this wallet to keep safe all funds if I want to hold Bitcoin for long term. I can restore that amount anytime because I have private key hehe.

Big no! security of our wallet always comes to us first! If you always take precautions in preventing your account to be hacked then it is only very slim chance for our wallet to be hack. Mostly hacked wallet are victim of phising site like logging in a fake website and not keeping their private key in a safe place

It depends on how you manage them. The private key stored in your wallet is the only way to access transaction data stored in a Bitcoin address. If you lose them, you will lose your Bitcoins. Therefore, they are only safe when no one can access them, and they are not lost.  Smiley

One way to protect your wallet from prying eyes is to encrypt it with a strong password. This makes the crooks hard to access your wallet, but not impossible. If your computer is compromised by malware, the thief can log your keystrokes to find your password.

It depends on its users since it can be hacked through phising/SQL program. The chances can't be determined since we don't have a basis. The safest way to guard yourself is to use 2fa security so it's impossible to get hacked though they have your password, wallet ID/username/email.

It is very possible that bitcoin wallets can be hacked as well. The system is human made so there's also a possibility that others can intrude. Well, I think the safest thing is to have multiple wallets or just be very careful of the security necessities.
