To marry with rapists in any case it is impossible, it's disgusting. The rapists need to cut off the genitals and throw them in jail for the rest of their lives or sent to the death penalty.

I think death penalty is really the punishment for rapist because they destroy the image and dignity of the victim and the worst part is that they hinder the beautiful future of the victim.

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???

It would be great if there is a different punishments for rapists. Our community is not safe any more because of this. Rapists should be punished in a manner that they would be afraid to commit rape. And to those who committed it, it should be something that they won't forget.

The idea of marrying someone who raped your daughter is ridiculous. As a parent, you wouldn't want that to happen. I think the normal reaction if you're a parent is, you'll have an urge to kill that person not let them marry your daughter.

I think people do not understand the situation in full. When it comes to forced marriage then we are not talking about rapists. This applies to those young people who had consensual sex but was not married. Especially if after the sex the woman became pregnant.

For me, the best punishment for rapist is death penalty, for them to afraid to do that kind of crime, rape is the hardest part for a girl, sometimes they commit suicide if they are the victim, They do not accept that they have been rape, its not acceptable so its much better to kill anyone who disrespect or rape a woman.

I had watched a video somewhere in Iran or Iraq that a rape convict will have a punishment but not directly. His sister or any woman in the family will be raped, too bad for those innocent women who are related to the suspect.

best punishment for rapist is death penalty , it is not forgivable for those people who rape women. they must die , because if they dont die , they will surely repeat it again and again , or they can cut their penis so that thay can not penetrate it to the womens vagina ,if they have not got a penis surely they cannot feel lust or rape a women.

That's true, I want them to suffer inside the jail, and experience hell. If killing is their payment for their sins I think there is no hell there. I believe that they need to repent first. There are a lot of bad people around us in this world and we need to be smart so that criminals will stop their doings if they will know what hell their lives would be if they do something bad with other people.

In my country, it is very tough situation for rapists inside the prisons. The other prisoners beat them up whenever they get an opportunity. So it is an additional punishment for them, on top of the prison sentences which they already got. But any sort of punishment seems to have little effect on some of these rapists. They will commit their next rape as soon as they get out of the prison.

I don't think rapist can have their freedom, rapist should remain in prison so that their will be no next victim of that rapist. Rapist should leave in prisonment for the rest of their lives.

The video may be from Pakistan or Afghanistan. Iran doesn't have barbaric laws such as this one. But in Pakistan, this normally happens. The rape of Mukhtaran Bibi is a prime example.

I just can't remember on what Particular country that video was. I tried to google who was that Mukhtaran Bibi and it was the same video that I watched. Too bad for people who are living on these places, they don't value laws, they don't value life, they don't know what's human rights. Shame on those people.

I don't think marrying the victim to thr rapist is a good solution. It is just like putting the victim in endless misery. How do we expect the rapist to treat her better.
