This is a subject I think hard about, especially watching shows such as SVU on TV.  All rapist should be given a choice of two sentences.

1) Death Penalty.
2) A Life Sentence with parole after 25 years. This sentence should require the criminal to be raped in a similar fashion of their victim 1-3 times per year per victim while incarcerated.  To qualify for parole, you must be branded on your head as a rapist and forced to have a GPS anklet.  Anytime during your sentence you can choose option #1. After all, what they did will run through there victims mind for life, so the criminal should have constant reminders in theirs.

In my opinion rapist is very rampant especially in our country. It is a heinous crime punishable by life imprisonment. Some people consider bringing back death penalty with the capital punishment of hanging. But Im not favor with death penalty because all of us have still chance to change only God can get our life from us not anyone.

But after recent rape incidents the law has certainly changed for the better, making stringent decisions in cases of rape. Different countries around the world have starkly different laws towards sexual assault.

India is too soft on convicts. In fact, other countries like Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Iran and France there is no leniency when it comes to punishing a rapist. The offender is either shot in his head or his head is beheaded with a single stroke by the police.

There has been a recent case in my country. A policeman has molested women and even children for the past 3 years. One news channel showed a video from a CCTV of one of the attacks. I still can't get those images out of my head. Absolutely disgusting, I wish I hadn't seen that.

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???

It's a pity, that there are rapists among us, for there multiple social and medical reasons for such behaviour. But it's not an excuse.
