Hello
is there the possibility to mine with only one card? It's very important to me ... that's the only reason for me to use Nicehasch at the moment
How many and what type of cards do you use on this machine?

In one of my PC i have 3 GTX 1080.
as long as I play I want to continue with 2 cards. In the planned mining rig that is okay as far as it is now.

Hi, I have some problems. I am running winminer on three PC-s, but after some time all of them (usually) is in idle, with some no job, or network error messages. I am doing something wrong? The network is okay, a have 1 gb bandwidth.

WinMiner v1.87a is now released!

- AMD Vega - latest Cryptonote v10.2
- Bug fixes

...and special delivery to...

Still have to keep ClaymoreOldCryptoNoteGPUv9.7 and CalymoreZcash v12.5 miner off.
Any chance of fixing Vega cryptonight mining in winminer ? Maybe Zcash to ?
So sad do have to use nicehash or directly mine the coin.
We are totally with you on that...and we have some good and some bad news to share -
The bad news is that there is a new Claymore v10.2 (replacing the v9.7) however we still have some issues with it..
The good news is that we just updated to ClaymoreZcash v12.6 (replacing the v12.5) - so you can use WinMiner to mine Zcash with your Vega  Smiley
Hope to bring you more good news (on the cryptonote front) shortly..

. Hello . in #650 you say you replace claymore v9.7. In my miner list there is still 9.7 not 10.2.i have the v1.87a(newest download Form Website) how can i geht the Version Witz claymore 10.2 ?

Congrats on the new machine  Smiley
Yes you can use WinMiner.
You may realize that mining with just CPU could be better than mining with both GPU and CPU, in this case.
Let WinMiner do the benchmark for CPU only, and then for CPU plus GPU and then decide which works best for you.

We did release v10.2 for users with Vega.
We have seen some issues concerning virtual memory with v10.2 for non-Vega, multiple GPU users and therefore we still use v9.7 for non-Vega users. We are working on a fix so we can have everyone on v10.2

Hi there! First of all thanks a lot for your great work!! I really appreciate what you are doing!

Could you please have a look at the miner xmr-stack-cpu64 1.31. I have a Core i5 and it only uses 2 of 4 cores.

Thank you for the warm words!

You are very welcome to use the custom command line/config feature in WinMiner to customize the settings of this miner so all 4 cores are utilized.
If you find a configuration that does so and has overall improved performance we will gladly adopt it  Smiley

It is very simple:
(1) Choose the XMR-stack miner in the Miners tab
(2) Choose the "Use custom config file" option
(3) Click "Edit"
(4) use your customized settings/configuration instead of %%ProcessorConfig%%

Could you please elaborate on:
(4) use your customized settings/configuration instead of %%ProcessorConfig%%
I am obviously doing it wrong as I get a parsing error.

In order to change the config file I need to know:
"pool_address" : "pool.usxmrpool.com:3333",
"wallet_address" : "",
"pool_password" : "",

Thats really interesting project. Simple app and automatic switch is what I've been looking for. Is it normal that it uses only 50% of CPU power during the benchmark? Thanks for the reply

Hi TeamWinMiner,

With the new WinMiner v.1.90 I'm mining at half the speed I usually do!!!  Undecided

Ok I fix the problem with the shutdown of my mining rig.

Do you recommend farm mode for mining rig?

Thank you for the good work!!!

Walter
