I am in the process of investigating Bitcoin payment methods to supplement traditional payment methods.
Currently looks like I will be setting up a Walletbit account.
My site is not live yet, as I am in the design phase.
Looks like I have lots to read here.

As a business, will you encourage BTC payment or would you lean towards fiat as to protect yourself from a volatile BTC market?

A am comfortable encouraging BTC payments. I would prefer to have Bitcoins as the payment preference and then fiat as an option. I probably should be concerned about the volatility. But traditional banking is not the long term solution for me. My product development costs have been covered by traditional payment methods. Adding bitcoins seems like a no brainer. I could be wrong. As a business, will you encourage BTC payment or would you lean towards fiat as to protect yourself from a volatile BTC market?

Yeah I see your point. Fiat is not the solution, I think that's one reason some or a lot of us got into BTC. Even if BTC drops 15% after a purchase, in the long-run, you, me and a lot of others are thinking BTC is the good bet!

We are Budget Dental in Las Vegas, and YES we certainly like to do our transactions in Bitcoins, ..are you kidding? This is great! We are giving 5 percent off our already great prices for bitcoin customers, since they are saving us the credit card fees. We always post our prices online, we do ortho, endo, cosmetic, general, pediatric dentistry, and have 3 dentists and growing. Please take a look at the photo of our front door with our new Bitcoins sticker, it's quite the conversation starter. WWW.BitcoinsDental.com

I've just finished a bitcoin trader for the MTGox api written in C#. Thats why I'm here, looking for some of the undocumented mtgox api stuff, mainly, how to use filter_min_price and filter_max_price in the market depth api request...

Developer here, proficient in VBA, and hoping to either freelance or find partners for bitcoin-related development. I have developed VBA-based applications for a Fortune 500 company and have years of experience in finance. Fluent in English and passable in French.
I would like to offer my services in customizable VBA solutions, testing, or development. Professional, reliable service guaranteed and no payment required until product is delivered.
Hopefully this is not too much of a niche coding language, but I am looking forward to working with others and joining the community. Willing to work for donations and establish trust!

I'm the developer of MyMindshare.com, a commercial messaging system and I'm interested in creating a version that is denominated in BTC. I only need a little encouragement and some guidance. It would probably take me a week to set it up. I would be interested in partnering with legitimate, upstanding members of the BTC community. I would be glad to discuss further and answer any questions. If your account represents a Bitcoin business or you are a developer, please post here so we can get you into the forum beyond. State your company, project in addition to what you wish to do on the forums. We will get you whitelisted promptly.
