Indeed. Alot of people have no interest in the solution to an artificially manufacturered problem (ie: Segwit). If on-chain scaling occurs, there is no need for centralized validating nodes. We can just do transactions on the blockchain, as originally intended. What is the exact reason behind it for developing this BCC as many people don't any interest in splitting?
Many other people do have a strong interest in splitting. Why does the reason need to be any deeper than that? |

If btc forks in November will there be a 3rd coin? and will btc core crash if a lot of pumpers and buyers of bitcoin cash?
I know if BIP141 can't active before July 31st. The fork in BTC will starting and split chain Bitcoin network to more parts, I don't know will fork to only Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Cash or still have other Bitcoin version after this fork. I heared have Bitcoin ABC from Bitmain if UAHF after August active. |

It's a separate hardfork with a different scaling solution that's being planned and promoted out of a majority minority of the chinese mining farms. BCC will have better net rewards for the miners so it's in their interest to fork before segwit. The creation is far from necessary, but there's enough mining support to make it viable, so it's going to happen provided they follow through. There's currently no reason to think they won't. So all BTC markets need to adjust and absorb this change, and only a few months before a second likely fork that will occur from full segwit implementation (what these miners plan to get ahead of with the BCC fork). |

should I receive any BCC I'll just sell them the same way I sold ETC. Even though it clearly is a shit altcoin you could also wait and see if there is a short term increase. Nearly unimaginable to me but there's a tiny possibility this could happen
Don't you mean ETH? ETC was the protocol unchanged and ETH was the rushed and controversial hardfork. |

All my coins are in a Trezor. I'll wait until they come up with a firmware update. I can wait to claim. I don't need to wait for the instant of the fork, just so that I can claim and dump. If this coin truly is worth a crap, it shouldn't matter if I claim on Aug 1st or Dec 1st. I'll let all the greedy people who want to claim and dump vet the BCC wallet products for me.  There may be some opportunities come November. The big Bitcoin miners still have their hearts set on SegWit2x (I posted recent research on miner attitudes towards Bitcoin Cash here). However, as we approach the SegWit2x hardfork date it will become increasingly clear that there will be two branches (1MB and 2MB) and that the 1MB branch will keep the all important "Bitcoin" name and "BTC" ticker. Disillusioned, I expect a few of these players will start taking Bitcoin Cash more seriously. |

HostFat, you're just drowning you reputation with this scam. You'll most likely make some money in process but I don't think it's worth it. Going for hard fork and break initial agreement just in order to make some money on this scam is so low.
Which agreement? When did HostFat agree to not post accurate information about projects like Bitcoin Cash? Why would he agree to not provide such a valuable service? |

Or Chinese Comrades just do not like the fact they do not control bitcoin and a significant part of CHINESE money ( BILLIONS) are not under their control  So the goal is to gently force Chinese players to put their money in new China coin controlled by them Have you looked at this BCC SCAM from this angle dude? They need to be gentle at first, otherwise a lot of BTC (USD) owned by Chinese will be wasted Unfortunately they are going to succeed sooner or later .... Sad! When this happens they will ban BTC. Period! It is a matter of time this to happen. I do not mind though i am sick and tired of all that Chinese shit a long time ago. As long as Chinese mining farms hold 70%+ of hashing power they may "invent" millions of beeps and agreements and proposals which will never reach the required support of network ( OWNED BY THEM) and cause a split.
