Import will retain the funds in the same address, and its private key will be added to the wallet.

Hello,
I'm a slowpoke and got Bitcoin Cash just now in that way:
I just downloaded electron-cash-2.9.3.exe wallet, and open it. This wallet found my Electrum BTC wallet and asked for password. After typing password I see Bitcoin Cash in equivalent of BTC balance I had on 1 August.
But then I've read from forums (old August messages) that I should 1) Install electron-cash on new PC (or virtual machine). 2) Transfer all BTC from Electrum to new Electrum wallet with new seed.
So should I have done those actions? Or it was actual only on August? Have I done all right?
Please explore this thread and post there or here to get further answers you may need! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059111.msg22629478#msg22629478

Earlier today, on October 29, the price of Bitcoin Cash surged by over 20 percent within a 24-hour span. Several major cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum’s native currency Ether also demonstrated an increase in their values, as the price of Ether rose by another six percent. For many months since its launch in August, Bitcoin Cash has substantially declined in value, dipping below $320 at one point. Within the past 24 hours, the price of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) increased from $400 to $522, demonstrating a staggering $122 daily gain. The BCH price has endured a slight correction since reaching its monthly peak and has stabilized at around $460. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/price-of-bitcoin-cash-surges-by-20-and-ethereum-rises-by-6-major-gains/yeah nice pump to 0.09 followed by a dump back down to 0.07 - the miners abusing the scam-eda will thank all buyers of their overpriced coins funny that you compare to $ where BCH simply profits from the price hike of original Bitcoin over priced? I'm over fucking whelmed, stupidest comment ever, fundamentals priced in? price in when a huge amount of bch can get finally dumped by the coinbase users - where will bch be then? 0.01? 0.001?

Bitcoin ABC Statement on the Nov 2017 Hard Fork Upgrade https://www.bitcoinabc.org/novemberOn or before November 1st, Bitcoin ABC will publish a new software version that contains an updated Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm (DAA). This is a change to the Bitcoin Cash consensus rules, but the change does not activate until November 13th. This is a hard fork, so exchanges, wallets, and other software need to upgrade before November 13th. We have been in communication with Bitcoin Cash miners and they are expecting this upgrade. The original Bitcoin Cash “EDA” allowed Bitcoin Cash to survive as a minority chain but produces wild fluctuations of hashrate. This is problematic because it prevents consistently fast confirmations for users, and radically shifts the coin issuance schedule........

**Bitcoin (BTC)** - 99% of developer/specialist support Far more hashrate - http://fork.lol/pow/hashrateLarger community of users 99% of merchant support Far less mining centralization Far more node decentralization Most devs Road map is for conservative scaling and focus on security , privacy and fungibility. Current capacity allowance is 14 TPS (transactions per second) average with most txs using segwit and millions of txs per second for LN payment channels (used right now but awaiting GUI development finished for widespread use) -------------------------- **B Cash (BCH)** One of 7 altcoin spinoffs from Bitcoin Roadmap is focusing on cheap tx fees and many hard forks for larger capacity blocks at the risk of centralization and lower security. Currently doesn't have transaction malleability fixed so is stuck with a mere 56TPS max throughput. Their focus is primarily on onchain scaling but do open the possibility up for L2. Is still vulnerable to this PoW vulnerability - https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2017-9230 which is largely neutralized in bitcoin with segwit Still has not balanced UTXO costs and no plans to do so. Introduced another vulnerability with the HF called EDA

Comments inline **Bitcoin (BTC)** - 99% of developer/specialist support - key devs are insane (Lukejr), or captured by Blockstream whose business model depends on slow chain and forcing users onto Lightning, which doesn't existFar more hashrate - http://fork.lol/pow/hashrate - ~92% of hashrate about to disappear in 2 weeks during 2x hard forkLarger community of users - mostly fanbois and people brainwashed by censorship and tech mumbo-jumbo, many don't actually use BTC and just hodl99% of merchant support - merchant support has dwindled to less than 50% of 2014 levels, due to slow and unconfirmed transactionsFar less mining centralization - false - all SHA256 coins are made in China equallyFar more node decentralization - an irrelevant and/or meaningless metric concocted by Kore Raspberry Pi minionsMost devs Road map is for conservative scaling and focus on security , privacy and fungibility - Kore roadmap is to force people on to LN, completely ignoring how useless onchain BTC has become for making paymentsCurrent capacity allowance is 14 TPS (transactions per second) average with most txs using segwit and millions of txs per second for LN payment channels (used right now but awaiting GUI development finished for widespread use) - false, even Kore says the chain can only handle 3 tx/s, on a good day with no spam-------------------------- **B Cash (BCH)** One of 7 altcoin spinoffs from Bitcoin - the only successful airdrop, with a current $1 billion USD market cap, with 8x the capacity of BTCRoadmap is focusing on cheap tx fees and many hard forks for larger capacity blocks at the risk of centralization and lower security. - false, Segwit has worse security, and onchain scaling is the most secure, also no RBF, which opens a double spend attack vector on BTC chainCurrently doesn't have transaction malleability fixed so is stuck with a mere 56TPS max throughput. Their focus is primarily on onchain scaling but do open the possibility up for L2. - Malleability is a red herring that has no real world problems, Mt Gox used it as an excuse for insolvency and no other major instance of malleability coin loss existsIs still vulnerable to this PoW vulnerability - https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2017-9230 which is largely neutralized in bitcoin with segwit - This bug report just describes ASICboost, a tech patented and controlled by a Kore dev (irony)Still has not balanced UTXO costs and no plans to do so. - not even sure what that means, but you can educate meIntroduced another vulnerability with the HF called EDA - EDA allowed the coin to get on its feet against the massive hashpower of BTC (which is now ready to shift radically with 2x fork)MORAL: It's not a good idea to compare BTC technically with BCH side-by-side. BCH is clearly superior and this will become crystal-clear in the next few weeks...
