According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Agreed... I think 2018 is the year of the bear, 2019 will be relatively flat or maybe slightly upwards, and then 2020 is the next bull run. These things go in cycles and 2020 coincides with the next block halving event which almost always leads to an uptick in price. But hey it is just a guess. Crypto can change at the drop of a dime.

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain. When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

BTC price likely to drop 10 to 20 percent on August 1st when the chain splits. Make sure to have your private keys when this happens so you don't lose funds.

Ha ha, fongo is a good term, I think many experienced some fongo in January , I still wake up in cold sweats thinking of why I didn't sell at 20k USD. With bittrex and Poloniex exits off limits now and some funds trapped, I don't know if I'll ever get that money back without a kyc cavity search.

In order to safe you ^ I'd recommend you leave, otherwise you might fall into same kind of 'stupidity'.

Anyway - good things are developed for Bitcoin Cash and the light comes from these things all together.

No artificial short living (destroying?) lightening needed to see that.

I only hang around here for a laugh so don't worry I don't take anything anyone says here seriously I just leave facts and proof of real world work and results from real world experiences from real world people

It's much more useful than

Bitcoin cash is Bitcoin (It's not)
Buy BCH (Just bad advise)
Hey look at this great new article from (the Bcash Pushers)
The Flippening (Never happened)
Dragonslayer (Never happened)
Joke of a conference (sponcered by Bcash Pushers)
SegwitCoin (does not exist)
LNcoin (does not exist)
Segwit Coins will get stolen (Never Happened)

Bitcoin is built on a solid codebase supported by the best developers from all around the world and needs no advertising

Bitcoin Cash is controlled by a few shady characters that all collude together like the bunch of criminal conmen they are and built of marketing and manipulation

All you need to know right here

Always good to see Bcash (scam coin) getting burned haha.

Back to $300 or lower  Grin

Meanwhile https://support.okex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002258531

We will close all the trading pairs in BCH market of Token Trading at 18:00 Mar 30, 2018 (Hong Kong time, UTC+8) due to inadequate liquidity. While BCH will still be available for trading in BTC, ETH and USDT markets (BCH/BTC, BCH/ETH, BCH/USDT).

Nothing will happen nobody using this these pairs so price will remain on same level. At the moment Bcash is already following the pattern of down trend that is why this is not a bad news overall.

no exchange likes low volume pairings. it makes them look bad and they're all about maintaining the image of success.

everything's heading towards being on its ass so i wouldn't read too much into any particular moves.

Let’s not forget that Roger Ver has claimed to be “agnostic towards Segwit" (audio) — yet here we find one of Roger’s most important full time employees, the heart of his technical operations, is investing considerable time and energy in attacking Bitcoin Core, Segwit, and Blockstream.
