NEO Boom or Bust? New Announcements and FUD. https://cointelegraph.com/news/neo-boom-or-bust-new-announcements-and-fudIn spite of the announcement and the subsequent price bump, NEO has faced some relatively harsh criticism, particularly regarding its centralized nodes. One article appeared on GitHub, offering at least six reasons why NEO is not a particularly good investment before the weekend, only to be responded to via Medium by NEO insider, Malcolm Lerider. its always going to criticized when the intention is to slow down its price rise. when an investor is left behind, he relay can do sort of things just to pull back the price. didn't they do that with ETH but now they kept buying ETH even with such a high price already. they can all fud everything about NEO but they just can't see its price dropping like they can buy 5 for $100.

out of topic worth read ECB Proposes End To Deposit Protection http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-19/ecb-proposes-end-deposit-protectionIt is the 'opinion of the European Central Bank' that the deposit protection scheme is no longer necessary: 'covered deposits and claims under investor compensation schemes should be replaced by limited discretionary exemptions to be granted by the competent authority in order to retain a degree of flexibility.' To translate the legalese jargon of the ECB bureaucrats this could mean that the current €100,000 (£85,000) deposit level currently protected in the event of a bail-in may soon be no more. But worry not fellow savers, as the ECB is fully aware of the uproar this may cause so they have been kind enough to propose that: "...during a transitional period, depositors should have access to an appropriate amount of their covered deposits to cover the cost of living within five working days of a request." So that's a relief, you'll only need to wait five days for some 'competent authority' to deem what is an 'appropriate amount' of your own money for you to have access to in order eat, pay bills and get to work. The above has been taken from an ECB paper published on 8 November 2017 entitled 'on revisions to the Union crisis management framework'. It's 58 pages long, the majority of which are proposed amendments to the Union crisis management framework and the current text of the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD). It's pretty boring reading but there are some key snippets which should be raising a few alarms. It is evidence that once again a central bank can keep manipulating situations well beyond the likes of monetary policy. It is also a lesson for savers to diversify their assets in order to reduce their exposure to counterparty risks...........

Despite my hate for those bureaucrats, I have to say they just might do us a favor... They say that investors should diversify

I am obviously very happy about NEO's price action lately but, in hindsight, I hope they won't make any more "announcements of announcements" in the future. Just look at Neo's and Malcom Lerider's twitter accounts: they're full of freaking morons commenting, saying that they believed all sorts of rumors, from "China unban", "NEO will be the only ICO platform allowed in China", "NEO on Bithumb" and worse. Jeez!

Learn how to make pumps in NEO . The sea of rumors very positively influenced the course. Perhaps the good news is still on the way. And today we will get them

Agreed. Imo, "announcements of announcements" are not good. But the reason for my comment is to ask if anyone could please clarify these conflicting information I found about NEO and OnChain: https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/6uuwyv/a_response_to_fake_matrix_article/ In this post, u/neo_council states that Onchain was founded on 2016 and that NEO started in May 2015https://hackernoon.com/neo-onchain-and-its-ultimate-plan-dna-4c33e9b6bfaa This post says NEO started on February 2014 and that OnChain was founded "in response to the attention from private companies garnered by the development of Antshares"Onchain website shows a Roadmap starting in 2014: http://www.onchain.com/en-us/https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/6tf8cp/lets_talk_about_onchain_and_summarise_their/ This post says " OnChain started in 2014 to develop blockchain technologies and its application" Can someone clarify these information? Thank you

My theory? 4 hours ago, the first fake news was released, then 2 hours ago the second fake, an hour ago the third fake.
4, 2, 1. Each time the release-period gets cut in half
In half an hour the real news consisting of 3 parts will be released. That is the only logical way this hype could be played out brilliantly by the team...

Sadly enough it is not true... It should have been perfect. My conclusion: the NEO-guys that where tweeting got a lot of people pissed off and very tired. Get your timeline correct, and don't promise things that are actually old news. What about Loopring? I did not sleep well for almost 4 days. Amateurs. I am certain that I am not alone. Just glad I didn't buy more NEO.
