Hey guys! I downloaded the Neo Wallet, exactly the same as CryptoOracle did in that video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grDqETNwACU) really easy, but I would like to ask you a question:
- If I never forget my password what should I store in case I need to login in other computer? Only the db3 file? He talks about that at the end but I don't quite understand so I prefer ask to you guys

Thanks very much

Technically you would only need the .db3 file and its password (which you do not need to store if you do not forget it as you state). Alternatively you can write down the private keys associated with your wallet and store them in a very secure location and never share them. There are some ways to get the private key as safely as possible (without keyloggers or other spyware), but you might want to check out a special guide for that. If you decide to do that, you will want to run an anti-virus program and anti-malware program first and then you might want to disconnect from the internet before checking your private key.

Personally I would not store .db3 files or private keys on one's computer for added security. Some also encrypt files, keys or passwords for even more security.

How do I transfer anything from my web wallet (https://neowallet.cn/)? On Transfer page I enter destination address, then type value, click "Confirm Transfer" and... nothing happens.

Personally I know very little about those webwallets. You might want to check out the main thread for such questions if you cannot get the answer here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NEO/comments/6tl7ej/support_wallet_questions_neoneonweb_hardware/

Well, that's a real solid coin indeed, worth of 1.7 billion, where I need to ask advice on Reddit to transfer coins... Shame on them. Angry

Ok, I have public and private key. How can I import them in the desktop wallet?

The future for NEO is bright, as the world begins to understand the complexity and simple elegance that is built into the NEO blockchain system. NEO will continue to gain market share (as already evidenced), and may surpass even Bitcoin in terms of its market share. As companies, investment firms, programmers and others realize the power and versatility of NEO, it may well grow to be the largest cryptocurrency in the world. Its design and features have positioned NEO to be massively successful in the coming years.

No, just keep the coins in your wallet closed and it will accumulate GAS. You can see how much GAS you have claimed or accumulated via this address: https://neotracker.io/address/YourWalletNeoAddress

What's the easiest (and least expensive) way to take the GAS I've accumulated in Neon wallet and convert it to NEO?  I've got accounts with Poloniex and Bittrex.  Thanks.

Poloniex & Bittrex do not trade in GAS, the only exchange I know of (I think there may be other Chinese ones) that deals in GAS is Binance.

Poloniex does trade GAS but not NEO, Bittrex NEO but not GAS.  Would it make the most sense to go through Binance then?

Ah! Missed that, did not know Poloniex had started trading GAS, but not NEO - Odd.
Binance not only trades both NEO & GAS but NEO held in Binance will generate GAS for the holder, unlike Bittrex who keep the GAS.

Ya the link is broken...try this for the neo-gui: https://github.com/neo-project/neo-gui/releases

I used the "Download Synchronize data offline" to speed up the chain download: https://neo.org/client/chain.acc.zip

Personally, I prefer the Neon wallet over neo-gui, which can be found here: https://github.com/CityOfZion/neon-wallet/releases

Nice, one very interesting document on this is the list of GAS fees: http://docs.neo.org/en-us/sc/systemfees.html Most are cheap fees, but a few that stand out:

Validator.Register    1000
Asset.Create (system asset)    5000
Asset.Renew (system asset) [per year]    5000
Contract.Create    500
Contract.Migrate    500
