Of course it's clever,they can avoid SEC's compliance because REAL is not a security and RPP can be traded in the platform to let you gain more liquidity

Maybe many others use this method to avoid sec's compliance.

Behind this method, there should be a tactical genius.

i dont know what to think about that

This is just great!
The method is nicely thought and great for any holder.

If you have REAL and you see a property you really like, just buy RPP Smiley

Atlant was able to accumulate 3.5 million dollars despite the fact that it is a project that is very much heard. 10 million dollars is not much in this market. for this reason it can be considered successful.
ya in my country some house is worth than 10 million . hope when reach softcap they still can do well then price maybe x10 when people realize they miss a good project.

You can't minimise a huge market to one house. In my country, there are some houses worth more than 20 million but there are some houses worth 10.000$ maybe less. So it's their choosing to how to invest. I trusted their judgment and invested them. Now it's time to wait.

Exactly, million dollar plus houses will always be the exception. Even in Dubai or something

Just saw that the ICO raised 9 millions, that's great !

This is a summary of the latest updates (just copying Melissa's post on telegram for some of you that don't have telegram):

Hiring: We are interviewing amazing Real Estate executives and technology developers to join our team a.s.a.p.
Legal/Banking: We are opening different bank and exchanges accounts to prepare our ETH/Fiat exchange when timing is right. Because of last news that is proving to be harder than before but we are moving forward.
Operations: Our CEO Enrique Dubois is setting up office and team in Singapore, and some of Barcelona staff is relocating in October to our Singaporean HQ.
Exchanges: We are continuing to talk to different exchanges. They have been under big pressure for the last weeks and have not been very responsive but we are progressing.
Product: We are finalizing the platform designs and advancing on the product development.

Basically she say that exchanges are a mess right now Grin but they'll deliver the product no matter what

I don't think the decision to make RPP the only way to invest in the estates, and get profits from the rental of the estates one particularly invested is a method to about SEC, SEC forbids from participating in ICOs, for whatever reason that ICO may be, though this method of distribution, will certainly make it possible to treat the token as a regular token, rather than a share, because it is not actually a share by itself, you could decide to use it as a share, but that is up to you.

Thank you for that summary, I am sure it reaches some people here, who might missed it on Telegram.

I am really looking forward to the future here and when we can finally test the platform. Who are the new members for their team? Which real estate objects will they offer to invest in on the platform? Interesting times ahead for this project.

hehe, it's kinda nice to see a summary like that. Maybe the team themselves should give an update like those very once in a while. Saves people from scrolling through many pages.

FOMO will be huge when real will pay it's first dividends. Then price will skyrocket and people will regret their decision Smiley

Yes i think we will se FOMO here, when the platform will be launched and the first eth as dividend will be paid a lot of people will want to buy Real and use the platform to earn a lot too. And real estate is really a good invest, if the project start to do great things he will skyrocket for sure.

I'm wondering if you can hold ETH dividend payments on the platform for a while instead of transferring them to your ETH wallet each month. Else you might have some of your profits 'eaten' by transaction fees. And being able to hold your ETH for a while on the platform and transferring it once every 6 months or so might help with this.

Also, maybe an option could be added to the platform to purchase REAL/RPP tokens with your ETH dividends.

Iv been trying to keep up with this project but i still learned some new stuff with your review so thanks for that. It looks like its they are making progress slowly but surely.

Yes, very true, as they even say in their white paper that, maybe as little as $1000 worth of REAL tokens (depending on price of property) could be used to invest in a property. Token holders will get a share of property income, and if it's wholesale, you even get your initial tokens you invested with back. It's a very lucrative enterprise!  Cool

So REAL is planning to pay dividends of what do you mean? That would be a great idea, but could be hard getting listed on exchanges, because some exchanges don't like tokens which pay dividends.
No, REAL token holders wont get a share of property income, but RPP holder will (Real Property Participants), you can buy RPP with your REAL token.

REAL Property Participation or RPP will represent the shares on each property. Each investor will be able to exchange REAL tokens for this property’s participations through our platform. RPPs will also be tradable inside REAL platform so any investor will be able to transfer and sell their investment to gain liquidity.

find the right property and invest all your RPP in it. Forget about it and in about five yrs your received dividends should hopefully be larger than the original amount invested
5 years is too long for the market of crypto currency, many invest to get quick profit.
I think that you can make a profit in this project for 1 year.
I will be satisfied with 2x on entering the exchange. Smiley

Now a lot of houses in a lot of countries building for 1 year or less. So you can get profit more early.

There are too many problems with exchanges and the community is too dependent on them. They are really the weakest link in the chain. We need decentralized exchanges ASAP. Are there any decentralized exchange ICOs?

Haha, there are a ton of decentralized exchanges ICO's. Way too many if you ask me. And i think Etherdelta is already a decentralized exchange that works although it is absolutely the worst to use it is usually the place where tokens can be found first.

In their AMA with Ian Balina they mentioned that they have hired people especially to market to the token (to exchanges). So i'm glad that they thought of this to create some demand for the token and with that an increase in the price. Very good for investors.
