What is this about eliminating the Hard Cap of the ICO?  I'm hearing a lot of rumbling on the Telegram about this, please confirm or deny...

The devs had a vote and the 40 million hard cap will most likely be implemented.

The 40 million hard cap was just the amount raised if we sold out the first week. Since then the 40 million was refered to as the Hard Cap.

An offical statement will be put out tomorrow. It will say that there will be a 40 million hard cap.

I'm new to this so pls correct me if I'm wrong.. if electroneum hits 300k users (almost there) and there's an estimated 3 million total active crypto users worldwide isn't that around 1/10th of all the total crypto user base? And if so isn't that insane for a coin that hasn't even been realeased! I must be off here? That can't be right..... can it?

Amen to that brother! We are talking about Mining on the mob, never been done. And there are litterally billions of mobil phones around the world. So this is differnetl.

Short term i do not think there will be much too this. But longer term as things get added, and they develop things extensively, and iron out problems, this could really be something SPECIAL. That is just my guess. ANyting can happen, and should always invest with money you can afford to lose.

But you are right, what you want is a good marketing team around this sort of ICO, and boy, that would be an undrestatment here. Its all over fb, twitter, email, etc.

You have to use an exchange for this. It will not be possible to trade with the ETN wallet and phoen app.
But I hope this will come sometimes because this will make it much more easier for the masses.

End of the bonus period and the hard cap has nearly been reached. They'll probably not push the marketing as hard until the launch now.

What is the mining algorithm of Electroneum, X11 or Cryptonote?

Cryptonight algo which is Cryptonote tech. Same as Bytecoin before it was modified to account for the mobile mining.

So it means it can be listed on minergate for mining.
