Electroneum team are marketing geniuses, the way this ico has continued to gain momentum proves this. With the huge amount raised imagine the marketing/promoting they will be able to do with the apps. The ease of use of sending ETN to friends/family etc via the apps contact lists or simulated mining to earn ETN coins is gonna make this a viral app.
Get the users then roll out trading exchanges, fiat exchanges, uses for the coins like buying stuff, gaming etc.
Then watch the ETN coin price increase in value as demand/usage increases.

They will not earn money with this way of inapp purchases and so I think they will not agree with releasing apps that are using ETN.
What are you thinking about this?

I didn't open my Electroneum amount yesterday cause it was a crazy Sunday, but finally got around to logging in today and was shocked to see there are now over 137,000 registered users and it is already past 2Billion ETN sold (getting super close to 2.5 billion actually). With 2 weeks left for the ICO I can't imagine how many users will be registered by October 31st, or how much ETN will be sold. Yes, I know some may say not all registered users are investors, but I would like to think they are not investors yet. Even if they are only sharing a referral code to get free ETN, this will bring in more people, which is what ETN is aiming for ... mass adoption.

app is on google play already talkings are going on with apple ....but if i remember well, apple wants to see the coin in the exchange, and then they will approve(don't know why they want to see the coin in the exhcange first, i didn't get that part) I meant the implementing of ETN into other gaming apps. Normaly people buy their inapp currency with fiat directly with the appstore and so Apple and Google make their money. But fiat exchange, that will be used by the gamers inapp, will not be done by Google and Apple and so they will not earn money. Gany |

Don't they get a percentage of the sale, like they do with music on the music store? As an independent music artist (depending on the distributor you use), if you sell a single on iTunes for USD 0.99, you get to keep USD 0.69 and iTunes keeps the rest (the difference covers their network, transaction and operation fees). My guess is that any in-app purchases work in a similar way, and they could do the same with purchases made in ETN (the exchange might be tricky, but they already deal with fiat exchanges by region ... I used to pay in USD, and they recently changed my App store currency to the local currency). |

Gany Microsoft has recently added Bitcoin to purchase goods from their store, just wait and watch, they will add this coin too, as this is easy to manage than btc. |

The coin price depends on market cap or on other factors? Like Eth price was $0.872314 in Dec 2015 and now its price is $337 merely after 2 years Any expert answer pls, I'm confused  |

I don't think it's something that Apple or Google Play need to worry about. Game developers can use any currency they want in a game and if they decide to use ETN, I don't see why Apple or Google Play will have any problem if the people putting the apps on the stores are paying a fee for each sale? Maybe Electroneum will be including in Apple and Google Play as a means to accept payment for games. In that case this could literally blow things out of proportion and ETN might go up to 20+x I think ETN will also allow Indie Game developers to gain a good market share and also make some money out of their games. |
