it will be the most user-friendly cryptocurrency in the world with wallet management and coin mining all possible on a mobile app.

I am not sure what new value this coin brings to table other than being the most user-friendly coin.
Any thoughts?

You're right I don't see any unique features about it and there are already some other coins that allow you to mine with your cellphone but hopefully that will change over time depending on how competent the dev team is.

@cyberspacemonkey, thanks for your interest in Electroneum

There are apps that try to mine, get barely any coins, and burn up the phone. The largest app of its kind is minergate.com. Read their reviews, people are freaking out. Its very, very far from even profitable, even if it didnt ruin your phone.

When it comes to actual coins, none have been specifically made in a way that doesnt damage the phone.

Electroneum is the only crypto you can mine and make a profit without damaging your phone.

I hope you take a closer look at this by reading the two white papers and going to our telegram.

Thanks

Thanks for replying, I guess mining requires resources from the phone which can cause overheating among many other problems but this is normal even if using a GPU. Also I'm not sure how profitable it is but you can use your phone to mine Gridcoin with Boinc, I'm not sure how profitable it is but it may be too technical for people not familiar with it so I guess that's one of the good things about Electroneum seems like it's planned to be more user friendly for people not familiar with crypto.

It took 4 days to reach 100 BTC and 2000 ETH

Now we just doubled that in less than 48 hours!!

Were at 201 BTC and 3970 ETH!!

Things are really picking up with BTCs rebound and the deadline for the 50% bonus hours away!!

Yes the twin algo is designed to use the people mining on home computers to power the blockchain. This makes it so the phone doesnt have to use its resources to power the blockchain. This is why its possible to mine on a cellphone without draining the battery or putting undue strain on the phone.

Mining on a mobile phone is a mining experience designed to introduce cryptocurrency to the masses. They can run it in the background, play the game to get bonus coins, or move deeper into the crypto world and move on to mining with their home computer.

Not newb for forums, but question:

Do I simply copy/pasta the code in my sig? Because it says 50 chars max and it doesn't work Sad

I see... Still a newb because low post, despite long time account. Sad

I see we have banner ads here on bitcointalk too!!

I seen an electroneum add on foxnews.com yesterday!!

These guys are everywhere.

Can we say that we FINALLY found a coin that will actually do what we have been screaming for years? Yes, yes, and yes!!!

Now watch what happends when a crypto is actually promoted as if it were "Colgate" or "Ford" or "Home Depot"!!

Its not rocket science!!! We will get the same results.

Advertising WORKS!! We all know that.

And FINALLY a coin is here that is DOING that!!!

And I have a shitload!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

Wow! Well done mate! I only have referred 4 people, but it is people like you that makes the succes of this coin possible! You spreading the word to other people, who will probably get hooked or look into it, and spreading the word once more, is invaluable!

Thank you!

I usually help people with questions, then encouraging them to use a referral code, and if they ask me for one, then i give them mine. You have to educate people on the matter and then helping them; instead of shoving it down their throat to gain traction and a few more coins for yourself Smiley

But thats just how i do it.

Click in the link above in the quote, and then copy the signature code for newbies, then go to your profile and click, "Forum and Profile Information" and then post the signature code in the spot for your signature. The code you paste in is less than 50 Characters so I will fit.
