Trader or investor has the same strategy, buy low sell high. But when they buy or sell is depend where the place they replace time period and money management. Most people has wrong mindset about trading/investment, that's why loss is always become their nightmare. Choose trading and investment as their meaning not as business or legacy. Honestly I do not get what you mean by "current" strategy. Because I do not change my strategies for trading often. But I do hear some traders are switching over to different strategies based on market conditions but I do not find any need of changing strategies for my trading so far.

I just do buy and hold bitcoins for long haul that is my basic strategy also I am holding few altcoins and I do trade some hot altcoins too.

I agree, that when we look at the profits then the best action is to make a sale. And when the price decreases then what it does is buy. Do not wait too long because we can not make a profit. Better to trade with little profit but constant rather than get big profit but risky and takes a long time.

I do both things which is buy and hold and at the same time i do day to day trading. Both things i can able to handle since i do know what im doing. Go long for Bitcoin and Short tradings for other alts which can really give me a win-win situation but would really depend on how i do make trading but rest assured bitcoins would really give me positive results later on.

I will stay with my buying low and sell high strategy! I think this strategy is best because it reduced trading risk to a bearable minimum. Must of us do not know the magic of this strategy because of big players advise of technique and deep secret about trading.

Anything other than hodling is a bad strategy IMO. I seriously doubt anybody on these forums can consistently beat the crypto market by day trading. Hodling is the only viable way to invest in crypto.

Actually there are a thousand and one strategies to trade cryptocurrencies for profit and buy and Hodl is only one such approaches. If today Bitcoin is already $ 3,200, how low can it go down to be able to buy at a cheap price.

Unfortunately, that's the question everyone is asking themselves. There is a small chance that this is a Wave 5 (Elliott Wave), meaning we could see a major correction, perhaps even as low the $1200-1800 area. But given the recent bullish price action, I wouldn't plan on it. Maybe look for a test of $3000....

May be the prices will get down to the range you have mentioned and that would be a golden chance for those who want to garb bitcoins. Bitcoins are the rules r of the crypto world and we all know that soon they are going to be world most used and cherished currency. But I guess it will take time for bitcoins to come this low.

Buy low and sell high is the fundamental part of trading, the basics of the basics, i'm sure most of us knows it. in fact this is the first thing i learned before i entered trading, well

it is the very concept of trading if you don't know it you don't know how to trade. and to be clear, the big players has really nothing to do with it because its your job to be

I don't have any strategy for now because of the altcoin market down i decided to hold my bitcoins for a while and invest after everything settles down i didn't check all coins till now but my only current strategy is hold as many siacoin and dgb possible and sell it in a month or two until i figure the price structures of other coins

I often use the buy low and sell in that move it gives me a profit and avoid any loses and I also use a day to day trading in that way I prevent some loses that happened in the other day that may be caused some loses in my balance and it cause me to earn some good profit everyday

Day to day trading and sometimes hold for 2-3 month not more, altcoin market is now difficult to predict because the Bitcoin price movement is fast enough, and sometimes can make the altcoin market go down instantly, so I think day to day trading it's more safer.

Trading altcoin unlike forex trading it turns out actually trading coin requires patience in trading transactions, because altcoin price movements are increasingly difficult to predict. Maybe because trading in altcoin possibility more controlled by traders who have large capital and dare to speculate so as to master market.

Buy and Hold & Day-to-day trading is my best way stretagy to make money in the trading .
Here i am making hard work since 4 years with this same strategy , and also making lots of profit in this field .
Here it seems that you need a better way to make money , so here my suggestion is to analyse yourself about the coins and buy only those coins which are not at high price because most of the stupid people buy those coins which are high , which is a big mistake by them .
Always buy btc , eth , bcc , dash with the down in the price , because these are those coins which can easily pump to high .So more better to make trading with these coins .

That's not necessarily true. Based on Bitcoin's fundamentals and limited supply, it's entirely possible that the price will continue to grow for the years and decades to come. Most of the supply is already mined; as it receives acceptance by the mainstream, less and less coins are available for the public to buy. If Bitcoin goes to $500k, for instance, then buying it at $3000 is still the investment of a lifetime.

I'd still say that if you haven't got any bitcoin, that it's always good to buy at least a little. It's not a bad bet. (Not investment advice )
