Since my account was phished they have changed their protocol, prior to that someone could enter via 2fa and send 'tips' of your total account balance to brand new accounts who could drain the money off the site. I appreciate you bringing this up here but it's better to quote accurately as the above isn't accurate at all.

So a link is sent in telegram or via the hacked email list and so on, you click on it and 2fa entered, it is now disabled. stake doesnt alert you of this being disabled, doesn't have any blocks in place like all other crypto sites where there is a cooling period to be able to withdraw to different wallets and formats etc. My 2fa was removed and 11 minutes later a brand new account was tipped 111k and 55k within 90 seconds of each other. The thief stole 60k and the 105k withdrawal was blocked as it was over a new accounts instant withdrawal limit.

My obvious concern is stake has now implemented email confirmation when 2fa is removed and tips attempted, you need to confirm this by email. before hand you didnt and it was a loophole the thieves had used to rob me. They had also done this a few times in the month leading up to my theft, so the company was well aware of this loophole.

However, it's true that Stake team doesn't send any message to the registered email address if anyone disable the 2FA authentication. And the system is same at some other popular and reputable crypto casino. You need to enter your 2FA code only for disabling it, they don't send any message to the email.

Yes that is the point, they give you no alert, the bigger issue is they allowed TIPS to be sent with no security whatsoever, they now require email confirmation of tips, this was implemented as a result of my robbery and should have been the case from the start.

A question to Stunna and the Stake team.
A forum member alertoriole claims to have had his Stake account hacked and the hackers stole 165k in USDT from him. That's obviously not your fault, and you can't be blamed for players not securing their accounts.

However, the player claims that the 2FA on Stake can be deactivated without requiring the person to input a 2FA code to confirm the deactivation. Is that true and why is that possible in the first place? Can other Stake players confirm if that's true or not? Not only that, but the player's money was allegedly sent to other accounts in the form of tips. We are talking about tens of thousands of dollars. How can it be that such transactions don't sound any alarms on your end and you don't investigate what's going on?

to confirm, they have updated it a day after my money was stolen, they now send an email when 2fa is deactivated. Doesn't help me or anyone stolen from before but I guess it makes it harder for future theft.

I have not tested it yet, but do you know if they have checks in place to change your email address? It happens that people switch from one email provider to the next, so I reckon Stake has some serious verification in place to stop someone from changing the email address... right?

It's better to not-register, because a new account is right now required to do "KYC". So, even you're successful register to the site but "KYC" with ID from prohibited country they will rejected you.

You could be facing some problem in the futre.

In the one who tried this kind of risky move hires other persons identity just to withdraw from it and most of it failed and the next thing we can see is a scam accusation against stake LOL.

Stake is not a Nigerian based company, if I recall well, I think the company is based in Canada, I stand to be corrected just incase I am wrong.
