I never liked messing around with 2FA.  In my opinion, if we are talking about possible hacks1 of your accounts and additional security tools, then 2FA, in my opinion, should be done only when a fraudster who has hacked your account or wallet can steal from you some very serious amount for you.  Of course, if the amount is several thousand dollars, then it's probably worth bothering with this 2FA. 
And if we are talking about $ 100-200, then, in my opinion, installing 2FA is just extra trouble and unnecessary entertainment for you, and as a result, just a waste of time.  I have never heard that 2FA has seriously saved any of the users from a serious attack by scammers. 

And of course, for a long time in Stake, in my opinion, it was somehow more fun and interesting. 
But maybe I'm just fed up with it, or games have become so commonplace that both feelings and emotions have subsided a bit,
But still, sometimes, under the appropriate mood, I'm drawn to play.

That extra 2FA indeed look like an increase of chance to lose money. Who knows who could intercept that info. Those 6 digit post to chat can be used to access exchange or confirm a withdrawal somewhere. What about key loggers? Can they catch that 2FA numbers and use it elsewhere?

A phrase "even a stick one day shoots" confirms that extra usage of 2FA one day will lead to troubles. One day user will push alt tab accidentally or  post those 2FA number in wrong browser tab and cry later.

It means that $100-$200 is really small amount of money as it seems that you dont care about it much if you lose it due to something unexpected thing in your account.
For me, activating 2FA should not because the amount of money you usually have in your account but it is more about the security of your account.
Imagine your account is hacked because you do not activate 2FA, and the hacker use your account to scam others (maybe your friends).
Of course it is your own right to choose to have 2FA activated or not, but I would recommend all users to use this feature regardless how much money we usually have in the account.
I myself activated 2FA although I'm not a big gambler and I will prefer to spend more time due to this feature than losing some money.

I am also paranoid sometimes, so I know what you mean. I expressed myself that way because there are people who do not fully understand the importance of such security measures, probably because they have never suffered an cyber attack or identity theft. Lucky them.

Also, I mostly wanted to point out that even though 2FA is necessary when we talk about money services, there are different kinds of 2FA, the most primitive way is e-mail verification, then comes Google Auth and Authy and then the most secure way would be the use of a physical key. 2fa to increase the chance of losing money?  The only thing that I think it increase the amount of losing money is when you lost access of the 2fa and failed to prove that you own the account.  If someone is able to track your 2fa, he is surely able to track your account.  Without 2fa, keyloggers will easily feast with your account data and can easily log in to our account.  Besides, 2fa has a time limit.  So it expires, like the google 2fa changes every 30 sec, the otp expires every 5 min, and so on..

Funny you mention the 2FA generated on one's phone. Because recently Google released a new update to their authenticator which backs up the time keys on the Google account of the user, so they are easier to recover in the case of the smartphone betting lost.
Before such improvement, if someone lost their phone, then there was not way to recover the 2FA and it was a matter to deal with the customer service and ask for a reset of the account security. It is very annoying when it happens because the proof of identity they can ask.

It is more convenient now, but also less private because God knows what kind of encryption Google has applied over the keys we use to log in Stake and basically if someone manages access to our Google account, then they also would have our keys, they just would need our passwords to have full access, something to consider.

Every gambler, be it amateur or pro, will always want to win when carrying out gambling sessions and that is something commonplace. we all, want the same thing. like you guys said, winning is a secondary need. therefore, we get a sensation of happiness from the gambling sessions that we do.

Basically, if we want to make gambling just part of the fun.
