Does anybody know what the actual changes are? They just write they updated it but it's hard to tell what is different compared to the previous version.
At some sites they point out what has been changed but I didn't really see it here.

Not really sure what are the current changes, I'm curious about it as well. I tried to find their terms page before update but I cant find the full page of it. There is one archive for it that was made a year ago https://archive.is/7WpO6 but I cant see the whole terms. If we compared to the current one with the one in the archived page, yes there is a big difference but I have no idea when was the last update before the latest update. Maybe it would be nice if Stake inform all their players about the detail part of all the updates on their terms.

Well, I also fall in the same category, I saw the new terms, I scrolled through it to try to find what's changed, expecting that the new parts of the terms and conditions will be highlighted for easy reference, just for the sake of those who are in a hurry and might not have the time to read everything beginning from afresh again, but unfortunately, stake didn't distinguish the new added terms from the old, so probably, they want all theirs to read the whole terms begining from the first line to the last line again, I believe this is actually good, it's just that this days, we all tend to live a fast life on the internet, majority don't have any time to spare reading long text, 😂 funny but disappointing.

As my lawyer has said the lynchpin of the case will be the illegality of the bets as well as the negligence shown from a verification standpoint and by the owner in promoting VPN usage from an unlicensed jurisdiction. Okay guys i have decided i am going to take legal action against Eddie and stake. My messages to try resolve the issue get ignored by them. So ill keep everyone updated with the legal proceedings and make sure it gets some media coverage. I hope it will set a precedent for others to come out and sue stake for accepting bets illegally without verification. It's too much money for me just to sit here like an idiot and not take action. I'm very confident having got legal advice I will be successful. This will turn out to be a much larger problem for stake in the long run.

There was a rather long message while logging into the site which listed all the rules & regulations you had to follow before going onto the site while you are signed in now.
The whole message was in legal terms and in point form, was definitely written by a lawyer the way it looked.
So to protect themselves from any accusations and cover themselves in court if the user who logs into the site now does not comply with these rules inregards to VPN usage and AML agreement as well.
Inorder to continue using the site you have to click on the Agree to the terms button or you could not continue on into logging into your account.
It had to be from this users messages because it wasn't such an issue that they had to put it in writing and had you read through it and click on agree before all this.

Yeah, I do know that the recent update to stakes terms and conditions stated that kyc verification have become mandatory for new account, my response to the user, (that is the part you highlighted) was based on stakes former state(kyc wise) before the teams and conditions was updated.

And besides, stake asking old users to kyc for extra bonus, what exactly does this imply.?

You knew that Stake doesn't allow players from Australia. So, did you sign up on their platform? Let's say Eddie used a VPN and was encouraged to use VPN so you tried their platform from a restricted area. Would you have come here if you had won instead of lost? I am sure you wouldn't be here, and you would silently take the money and run away. What you are trying to do doesn't make sense to anybody except for you and your lawyer (You know why he agrees with you, He wants money).

I will say this once and ill say it again, you have to look at this from a legal standpoint and stake cannot profit from unlicensed juristictions.

What Legal are you talking about? Let's say It's illegal for the stake to profit from a restricted region. Then it should also be illegal to lose their profit in restricted regions. Well, you are right, aside for the fact that some scam casinos end up selling those identification documents to fellow scammers and hackers on dark web, I personally have never objected the demand for kyc verification from businesses, I do not see any negative side to it as long as the platform we are submitting the document to is one that can be trusted to never use the documents for other illegal or selfish purposes for their personal profit, I have passed kyc verification right from when I signed up on stake, I verified my account even before I deposited and wagered my first dollar, so I have no fear for the future, whether they demand kyc from old users, I sure know they later wil.
