The reason is the layout and many data show up are gonna make the site have heavy data process, make you lagging while accessing the site. They can only show up to 40th place. Is also for the same like (Recent bet and other things).

There is no need to show up all-player due to this recent just cut the maximum they can show up + with your current standing. Remember, your account login forever  without logout already make the site heavy.

If they add updating a list for up to 5000 people who are always needed to be update every second, I bet is gonna to freeze ~XD.

Yeah, I was really satisfied with their services when they freshly started the website couple years ago,but nowadays it is just different.
I mean, it's nice that you can choose various games out of many, however in most of times the house edge is crazy if we compare it to other gambling websites.

As far as I know VIP host and Live supports are similar in this area. If Live supports says that they do not know about this thing, I do think that the VIP host also do not know about it. Back to the main question about the current wager amount for such specific place, what we can do is to predict about it ourselves. Previously rdbase said that he is on 4000th with $120k wager so we can make an estimation based on his information. Perhaps now players have to wager around $100k to be in 5000th.

When you have tens of thousands of people gambling at the same time let alone the total amount of people who wager in a single day, and can't even imagine a week for example, it is normal that we would have people with high wagering numbers.

We should realize that stake is well beyond the crypto levels, it is not just bitcointalks great place that we love so much ,it is a global thing that is loved by everyone for the longest time now. Which is why it is smarter to not push your luck and try to be in top 5k or anywhere near that, because if you try to reach those levels then it is easier for others to spend even more to pass you and you would be risking too much money for eventually nothing.

I'm sure you could do it if you were trying to.  I could see making a lot of tiny low risk last minute live bets on sporting events, or tiny bets on the player vs player games.  Not sure if you'd come out ahead in the end even with a bonus, but it's not like you need to risk $5,000 on a single slot pull.  This is just a guess, but I imagine that many of the people who play for bonuses are mainly concerned with how to get their volume up without taking major losses.

It's hard to believe that anyone who wagered a lot and yet does not lose. Yeah, the lucky ones wager less and win, that's understandable as sometimes we are lucky enough, but no one is lucky all the time.
