My Weekly Bonus based on current calculations is up to $30 but a few weeks ago it wasn't that great at only $20. So I also still don't really understand how to calculate the bonus. If it's based on weekly allocations it might be quite reasonable if what you get will vary.

You spent it all and nothing left? it's a bad day to have turned it into $80 and instantly your gambling control is out of control. I don't think it's a good choice when you've already won but it's too much fun to lose it all. Like you do I also get paid weekly, but in this case I often make an allocation of how much I should take and how much I should leave at the casino. So I'm ready to lose. Try next time to use management like that when you get weekly pay. At least 5-10% is left for betting.

Whales betting more than our entire savings is common, I have watched a guy wagering 12000 bitcoin in a single day once, and not like this was during when bitcoin was low neither, this was when bitcoin was at around 10k dollars, which means that 12000 bitcoin wagering was around 120 million dollars give or take, and he lost about 300 bitcoins total as well, so that was about 3 million dollars and he stopped.

This dude wagered my entire balance in a single bet, he wagered about 1 bitcoin per bet give or take ,some times even more, sometimes a little less, and I never had that much money before, and this guy was doing it per bet. Let me take a guess..... you spend more than $2000 of your own money to wager that $332k.. right? How is a reward of $100 worth it, if you lost so much money trying to achieve it? Even if you multiplied it four times as you said..... then you still made a huge loss on it. 

I do not chase these challenges, because it is basically designed to reward a few whales..... the rest of the people get a fraction of a percentage of the big amount. Yes, it is a little bonus... for the money you spend on the site.... but it is so small... that it makes no impact on your losses.

@wiss19 it’s become quite normal to see whales on Stake, but challenging them or trying to replicate them is a bad idea and this is from my initial early day’s gambling experience that one should always stick to his own limits, and not get influenced by these whale’s actions.

I would say worth or not is depending on our own purpose. If he did not force himself to wager as much as he can to win one of the prize, it can be something worthless but he did wager just to play the game and not targeting for the wager contest, the prize is still worth. Even if he lost some money during the contest, the prize can be called as lossback. All in all, I do believe he is an experienced gambler who knows how to gamble responsibly and I do not think that he forced himself to wager more just because of the wager race.

Yea, I followed that conversation.... but I ignored the chasing for VIP rank part.. because that does not make sense either. You need to wager between $3k to $5k per 1% to rank up to Platinum III ..... so he will need about $3000 to $4000 at a minimum to reach Platinum III.

So with all the bonuses, you will not come close to breaking even on the amount that you spend to get to Platinum III. I guess his goal is not to break even or to profit.... he is just chasing the VIP rankings.

Reaching $332k with only $2000 of net loss is very difficult IMO. It's less than 1%, 2000 / 332 000 = 0.6% On which games do you have a such small house edge? AFAIK only blackjack is offering such a small one. But you need to be a very strong black jack player, who never makes mistakes. So I don't know if he is one of them but only few people are able to achieve that IMO.

This is called smart work do one job for several purposes at once this method is worth considering

My initial bankroll was almost $2k. I was trying to recover my previous losses, I had no intention to get anything from the wagering contest. I made the wager in the recovery process, and I had recovered a few thousand dollars in that run. I don't know why everyone thinking that I used wagering strategies and lost my bankroll. Does the gambler make bets to get something from wagering contest?
