I probably will participate because I myself am very close to this topic. I think this project will help many gamers to pass the project with pleasure
I agree, the project really deserves attention, and not only gamers. In this segment there are still many opportunities for development

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Looks interesting, haven't tried it yet but it reminded me of OnLive, if I recall correctly one of the biggest part of its failure was about the average internet speed, it's a lot higher now so we'll see  Cheesy

It's not the first time I see Onlive on this thread, what is it exactly ?

It was a streaming service for games. you paid a subscription to access games to play without having a powerful PC. I think it was bough by Sony and transformed into PSnow.

I tried to look a little into PSNow, I did not find much information about it in Europe, don't think it has been launched there.

It has been launched and has a good selection. I'm waiting for Bloodborne to be available before I jump in. otherwise, might as well try Playkey.
Playkey will be much cheaper than PS now and PS now won't be supporting PC platform (which Playkey does perfectly)  Grin
yes Playkey will be cheaper than other gaming platforms, and will offer a wide selection of games not only for console but also for pc,it will become the best in no time...

Even with a pc rowing, Playkey will provide a game support to facilitate the players experience and improve their feelings and total immersion, so there will be more chances and more equity between all the players who will be able to improve their performances.

Sounds almost "too good to be true", and when that happens... it usually is. There are so much gaming projects already!

There are a lot of gaming projects in general, but you should agree that this one is unique in crypto world. Not only they already have a working platform, they also have a huge community of users.

I'm here wondering what are the minimum requirements for the miners and what is the approximate income of the miner?

Whitepaper says 2-3 times more efficient than any altcoin mining and is accompanied with an illustration comparing Ethereum mining at $1.5/day with PlayKey mining at $10/day.

Yeah, 4 times $1.5 does not make $10 but whatever Roll Eyes

They said more efficient Wink not that it will yield you a roi of 4* Smiley

Even though if you look at the current numbers the company has, it's a very interesting company... they have primarily focussed on Russia but are now expanding to Asia. It's actually very exciting if you think about the mass market opening up.

Droxne is another project that is based n mining the tokens while you play, but the problem with that idea of theirs is that it will only work in their mobile games, not in playing whatever game you want; Playkey, uses the power of gpus in a different way, providing computational power to a cloud-based game hosting, which each server own by a group of people sell, the problem is that they will need a server for the beginning of the service, because there wouldn't be many people getting into this, later on, when the servers and the demand increases, more people will get to share their gpu power, so is kind of a gamble, and it depends on the marketing of the service, the adoption of cryptos, and the increase of the demand for cloud gaming.

Playkey currently offers more than 150 games that one can try on his pc without pre-installation and there are as many to test free in the form of demos.

That is really high nonetheless. I'm sure that, as usually happens, miners will switch to mining Playkey until the difficulty is much higher and the rewards are much lower.

Can you play while playing the game? That would be a cool thing! Wink

Gaming has a great future on the Blockchain. A lot of developpers know this and gaming projects just pop up almost every week.
Some really nice ideas but Playkey is different. Playkey already excist, Playkey already has users and so much more. This is an excisted company that is switching towards blockchain.

Does anyone know if it also will work the other way around. That you can play console-exclusive games titles on your computer?

Yes the target market is really huge, console player how want to play a bit on pc but if they don’t have powerfull computer they will be able to play on playkey. Also regular pc player who don’t want to upgrade their computer but want to play to the last game will use playkey, and many other people will need playkey.

This project is one of the best example of harnessing the power of distributed computing, offering substantial benefits to gaming community.

Exactly there are some games on PC I would love to play but can't because my hardware is too weak :/ As a regular console gamer I don't want to invest also in a gaming pc ...

Today I started shooting and ping very pleased. Play very nice
How fast is your connection speed? and in which region are you playing?

people who post about their gaming experience on PlayKey Please post the following:
1) your internet connection speed
2) your gaming ping
3) Your CPu/ram/Vid card
4) FPS of gaming
5) location

This would give every one a very good idea of how good this platform is

1) 100 mb / s
2) ping 17
3) Nvidia GeForce GT 330M
4) TOM CLANCY’S GHOST RECON WILDLANDS
5) Played in Belarus
Wtf sir, that connection is so lit
How much did you cost for it?

Thanks for sharing  Grin

is mac OS supported for playing game?

Mac, Linux, android, Ios, windows, every operating system, its just an app or software that you install, then you just log into your account, and the game is played from a server, I don't think you will have to install the game even, its all in the cloud, so you could play Crysis or Call of Duty on your phone if you had the keyboard there XD.

Just found this market platform https://gplaymarket.com/, where u can buy and sell games, accounts and other..
I guess this together with playkey could help keep the costs of gaming down even more, assuming that Re-selling a game or account would be with a cheaper price then a new game, or all the games separately.

Possible future collaboration maybe?
