Just had a look at the new website.
I noticed that you now put SmartTV on the list of capable devices to play. Now that is also very cool. No more need for a PS or XBOX Cheesy

Hell yea! This project is getting more intense every day.

That's from the website:

agree, having an app on the smart tv, plus controller would be perfect! you don't really need anything else, would be very simple that way

Ye, a really lightweight solution for gaming. Specially if you already have a smart TV with highspeed connection available.

If you would fine playkey from your tv's app store, you would definately be intrigued.
WOW this is huge! Imagine that you will be able to play AAA titles on your smartphone on the go or android TV in your living room while sitting at comfy couch  Cheesy

If it will really work to play games from your couch on a smart TV, that could be a strong reason for me to buy a TV again  Grin

Or you could just play on your PC monitor Wink

The games they have are very big, and those games have millions of users. I cant find more information on the servers they will use. Or will they make a partnership with a blockchain that focus on renting out servers? I cant imagine the computing power you need with millions of people playing

Just checked out the full list of games on the website, and I'm impressed by how many they have available - they even have a couple of free-to-play games.
Maybe it will eventually be the case that ordinary people can rent out their PC resources over the cloud, and be rewarded in Playkey tokens.

Actually, i think, there is not a need to set a soft cap for this project. They really have the best project I ever saw on blockchain plus they have already working platform with 2.8 million customers. They will probably hit hard cap, if it doesn't happen miraculously they should go with any funding because platform already working.

Just Read Playkey is already making like $600,000 a month...
The full article https://coinfunda.com/playkey-ico-review-decentralized-cloud-gaming-platform/
This is the best ICO i have ever seen, they arent only offer a concept/idea but they already have the product that already running very well.
$600.000 a month isnt really a huge amount for this big project, but hopefully with this ICO they will improve a lot.

I don't believe in that numbers. That just doesn't sound right. A relativ young company, that got 2.8$ million of investments and are now making 600k per month? Nope, that just don't sound right.

Very nice article, it’s really incredible that playkey already make benefit, it’s really rare that an ico has a profitable business before the end of the ico. So much argument for the sucess of this project, I have big hope for the future of playkey. Cloud gaming has a bright future.

That's too much if they would get $600,000 every month there would be no need for an ICO. Seams like fake news.

I can only advice you to start looking for some nice flat screen TV and wireless keyboard and mouse (or Xbox/PS controller)  Cool

Well, not necessary. There is always a good reason to get a lot money and be able to expand fast in a big way. My point is just, for that kind of company and with that investments, the amount of profit per month seems way to high. Several companies tried to make money in that money and most of them went bankrupt. Of course maybe Playkey just does it right, but still it seems strange. Also if you see their prices in comparison to the competition that are way cheaper.

Play on a smart TV? And how will this happen?

you access the website with the TV browser, log in and play.

I don't think they will reach with tv browser, it wouldn't be that good.

They probably make an app for smart tv's, and you can reach it from there.

It's a good vision but i don't know how to get a keyboard and mouse for a tv (maybe there is and i have no knowledge about it)

I absolutely agree with you. Development in TV is impossible, how can users can play with the remote? I think they just focus on developing it in PC is good enough.  Grin

Why? Most smart tv's run some sort of Android and have Bleutooth onboard for pairing a wireless controller...
The technology is all there so it makes perfect sense to release and app on AppleTV or AndroidTV to play on the Television.

Agree. There are already possibilities for this, but I think they will start just with a PC platform, which would be normal. Beside that a lot of people don't have a smart TV I think, at least, I don't have Cheesy

Well you don't really need to own a smart-tv, an add-on like the appleTV or perhaps the chrome cast could do the trick.
I think this could become very big if they implement android and iOS support.

It is definitely one of the reasonable ICOs because it has a reasonably working product as well as significant partnerships and funds,
