There are so many projects for gaming, and all look pretty much the same :|

PLAYKEY is a bit different compared to previous projects as it showcases a cloud gaming platform especially for gamers who need specialized gaming rig.
Yes it's differrent and it's better than the others.
PLAYKEY is a really interesting project that will allow users to achieve maximum pleasure from the game
it will be very useful platform - will be possible to play excellent games in laptop with average parameters. Ideally would be suitable for an office worker who sometimes wants to relax, but laptop parameters don't allow to play new games ..

Yeah, compared to other gaming projects PLAYKEY seems to be the most promising, imo.

I think it would be a good idea if they will advertise on youtube at let's player channels. Many members of the gaming community will be interested in the service they provide.

They should do a demo with people already using the platform, like using a tablet to play doom online, at least to prove the technology works, then people will get interested in it, and perhaps contact some news to show it.

Looks interesting, haven't tried it yet but it reminded me of OnLive, if I recall correctly one of the biggest part of its failure was about the average internet speed, it's a lot higher now so we'll see  Cheesy

It's not the first time I see Onlive on this thread, what is it exactly ?

It was a streaming service for games. you paid a subscription to access games to play without having a powerful PC. I think it was bough by Sony and transformed into PSnow.

I tried to look a little into PSNow, I did not find much information about it in Europe, don't think it has been launched there.

It has been launched and has a good selection. I'm waiting for Bloodborne to be available before I jump in. otherwise, might as well try Playkey.

Did not know it was available in Europe, I might take a look again.

Bloodborne will be never available. It is an exclusive Playstation game. There will be never a PC version of it.
I know that exist simulators of PS for PC, or it can’t be because it illegal?

Just found this market platform https://gplaymarket.com/, where u can buy and sell games, accounts and other..
I guess this together with playkey could help keep the costs of gaming down even more, assuming that Re-selling a game or account would be with a cheaper price then a new game, or all the games separately.

Possible future collaboration maybe?

I think that so many different gaming platforms, is a big plus for blockchain. That way, there is more competition and the product of gaming will become better and better.

The gaming industry is huge, and I agree with your statement that competition improves the quality for consumers. If the tech and marketing of PlayKey is good, they will find their place

One big competitor of Playkey is NVIDIA GEFORCE NOW ... doing basically the same for 9 EUR a month.

What you mean? NVidia have also same service? Or you mean, that people can byt their graphic cards?

Correct, Nvidia is offering cloud gaming services under brand name GeForce NOW for Macintosh and PC computers.

GeForce NOW for Mac is currently in beta and it is free during the beta period. However it is only available in the United States and Canada.
A PC beta will follow soon. Commercial availability will be announced at a later date.

Nvidia is expensive AF, Playkey will be much more cheaper and even more reliable than Nvidia. Also this project will be fully transparent  Cheesy

yes, i agree that targetted advertising and marketing will help this project a long way, although the best way to spread good level of interest is to show may be an alpha version of the project.

I think it would be a good idea if they will advertise on youtube at let's player channels. Many members of the gaming community will be interested in the service they provide.

Nice video that explains the idea of the project in a short, easy-understandable way. That's something every ICO project should have. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Love the video. They even included a clincher at the end about how the token value will likely increase and that investing in Playkey is a smart move!

I would like to know what will happen if some games will require a license,
and the player will not have it. Will there be an option to install on the game cloud via a virtual disk - daemon tools example?
