Bitcoin is a great survivor and I think the technology will keep bitcoin alive for 100 years. If not, it will be because they invent something else

I do not know, maybe we died at that time too. but, measuring it from the moment, I think the bitcoin will still be used. if bitcoin can survive until then, and has the highest price, it may be that bitcoin development at that time has been very good. the government has received bitcoin, and everyone uses bitcoin. it will be a very interesting year

The more time that passes, the faster the human race develops, and I think that in 100 years there will be some kind of more modern alternative to bitcoin.

What technology lasts a 100 years? In particular in times likes this, where technological development moves at light speed. Bitcoin will be long gone in a 100 years, but it very well might change the world and will then be replaced by something better.

Change is constant. After 100 years we may not in this world but Bitcoin will continue to exist. And, it may not only Bitcoin but there might be other currency that will come out. We still do not know what would it be. But, hoping everything will for the benefits of the whole world.

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential
I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well
But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
After a decade, I also think that bitcoin wil be a stable currency and I alao believe that it will be widely used specially that we are living in a world of technology as well as looking forward for a cashless society. I think it will have its ups and downs but with all the people who are using it as of the moment bitcoin will survive. It still has a lot of potential after all.

Its extremely difficult to predict what will the future after 20-25 years leave along years. In t his rapidly changing environment wherein charge is the only thing which is constant and there is continuous innovation in all the aspects I really doubt bitcoin will exist after 100 years

The question is, will we be still alive to answer this question? Hopefully somebody will invent time travel in the near future so that they can go back in this time to let us know what the the future holds for bitcoin. In any case, better enjoy now what profits we will gain from bitcoin and let the next generation of bitcoiners deal its future.

If you asking for 100 years it is a very long time range, technology has grown up very fast and many invention has made. A technology only long last for 10-20 years, after that they would be replaced by the newest technology. I think bitcoin would be replaced by something far better and futuristic.

Rather than survive, I think Bitcoin will be evolving as the foundation for paperless money. In 100 years my prediction is money and transaction will be stored individually in our own DNA

It is hard to predict what will happen in the next 100 years regarding of Bitcoin matters. But if your going to base on what Bitcoin status right now, so far Bitcoin is doing well. It is still continue invading the whole world just to get involved in this kind of technology because of the opportunity that you can get in return.

Bitcoin may have been replaced by another coin that has better technology than bitcoin, the coin is a kind of mobile phone there will always be new technology every year for the existence of crypto already worldwide so it will be higher competition

I do not think that Bitcoin will live 100 years, because progress today is moving at such a speed that people simply do not keep up with it (for progress). Most likely they will come up with something new and we will move on. The fact that the crypto currency will not disappear by itself, I'm sure, it will soon endure some changes relevant to its time. We are surrounded by an endless number of things that were invented a long time ago and did not evaporate as such, but simply underwent changes, why would Bitcoin not replenish this list in the future?))

Bitcoin is not replaced by anything now so what makes you think that something else will be a better coin?

Possibly! Anything will survive the test of time provided that the effort, keen interests, and determination of the people behind it will still stand by it. If we reach 100 years and beyond and still living in this place, internets are still working, open-minded people about cryptocurrencies still exist, why not? But it all depends on how firm everyone on this matter because as always the only constant in the world today and in the future is change.
