I still didnt find out if you will be able to use also old fashioned fiat when using Utrust for payments or they are strictly focused on cryptocurrencies? This would make it a perfect payment platform.

I don't think UTrust can be competitive when they would offer paying directly with fiat. There are just too many working solutions out there and everyone is already used to them.

Just read about partnership between UTrust and Soma, my friend google says that it's a decentralized community market (?), can someone give me an in depth explanation of it?

It's some kind of decentralized hybrid of Ebay and Facebook with Instagram layout and functions. Soma can help to popularize Utrust as a payment provider  

i think soma token will be available in Utrust  platform. those token can be usable or exchangeable in Utrust platform i just thinking but correct answer Dev can give u or wait for official news.

It will most likely be that you can choose UTrust as an payment option when you bought something on the SOMA market.

yeah this is what I think as well. regardless it's great that these 2 projects decided to cooperate. it will increase the value of both tokens at the same time.

They will be advertising each other, kinda like a symbiotic organism. Especially Utrust can benefit on this because if Soma will be succesfull more companies will be adopting Utrust payments. If Soma bankrupt, price of Utrust tokens will remain the same

No, mate, you didnt miss. Still no date. but first week not finished yet. So, wait 

let us wait for the announcement, maybe they will announce it in the coming days. we know that the team behind this is great, i know they will not disappoint us about this.

Perhaps the announcement with SOMA is what caused the ICO to move up a bit. Already having a platform adopt UTRUST is very nice, even if it is just a place to proof it's effectiveness, other merchants are more likely to adopt a proven product.

If this will go mainstream, paypal will accept cryptocurrencies as well and then people turn in their side because they are offering both options. I would rather see that Utrust didn't hand them that opportunity.

IF one day PayPal will add cryptos, it will add only 2-3 major cryptos trough a third party like coinbase or bitpay or gocoin. You will use it or you will use a platform where you can use a wide variety of crypto currencies?

But utrust's advantage from paypal is that it does not only accept cryptos as payment but it also offers a more secure and reliable services to both seller and buyer. They even guarantee to pay back the loss of buyers incase of fraud in the part of the seller.

I have the same opinion.
Why only crypto's? UTRUST can easily use a fiat gateway for payments with fiat.

I would use both! Much beter to find partner for this.

I think UTRUST will have separate accounts with each merchants. This is necessary to separate the performance of each Sellers.

Most banks ask quite high monthly fees for a merchant account subscription in addition to transaction fees. I wonder if they do that because they have to recoup whatever costs are involved with that merchant account, or just because they can.

UTRUST on the other hand boast a flat 1% fee on received payments. No mention of a separate merchant account fee. But we also don't know if the feature set would suitable and legally acceptable to replace the banks' merchant accounts. Would be nice if someone from UTRUST could comment on this.

The team hasn't announced a beta testing of the platform yet, when that happens there will be an announcement, most likely in their website, so be patient, it takes time to develop a platform, especially for this kind of online wallet.

I also think each merchant will have a separate account, they will be giving a trust ratings to each merchant so how are they going to do it if not of separate account. I also wonder  from where are they going to take the compensation they will make to the buyers incase of fraud.
