I don't understand, why does the cannabis industry need blockchain? In the US, legalization of marijuana is not an issue of records and verification but of stigma and that marijuana is currently labeled a Schedule I Controlled Substance. There are states that have legalized marijuana, but it is still illegal federally, can't open a business bank account due to AML laws. In the states that have legalized it, they sell marijuana, today, without blockvhain.

I believe people will be able to in the future, and I think there are some coins which are trying to do that already. As far as Paragon goes, it will not be used for buying cannabis so it will not have to worry about those types of rules so much. I don't know if there is similar system nowadays, but I don't think that associating cryptocurrency with black market is the best thing to do, even if we must admit that cryptocurrencies are used a lot in those markets.

When I look at some reply's still some people think Paragon will be there to deal cannabis. Paragon will do something much more important than dealing .
Silkroad and other players on the black market are something I wont support. Weed is only a small market there, more harddrugs can be found there. If you like that please dont invest in Paragon!
