Just had a thought... don't you think transactions in ParagonCoins will actually make it harder to get cannabis legalized? Since the tokens could be used to avoid taxes, the main driver of governments? Now you're fighting a battle on two fronts, legitimizing cannabis AND cryptocurrencies.
well, 200 mln total tokens will be generated, imagine how many people around the world will buy and sell this cryptocurrency, there were times when bitcoin was not popular, but everything changes. the world is moving towards progress.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Its strange that Paragon centers will be bought in cities where cannabis is legal, you will support all the projects, meetings, podcasts..., but yet you wont be able to buy actual cannabis there? Is this out of the picture or you will try selling it where you are able to?

I don't think Paragon wants to sell cannabis in the first place and I don't see the need to sell cannabis at their centers. The centers are places for scientists, project groups etc. to have an place where they can meet, and also meet others with the same intention to work on projects related to cannabis.

i think, paragon will focus on health with marijuana as primary substance. i will support them if they only spread the marijuana in health sector.

Even if they focus on medical use, you still wont be able to buy even on recipe in their centers. It just fells strange that they focus and fight for one exact thing and yet they wont offer the real product.

Paragon also aims at the general legalisation, and thus decriminalisation of cannabis, therefore they plan to establish Paragon centers.

Having a fiscal address helps legitimate the project, so people will take them seriously, decriminalization of cannabis and marijuana is necessary and PARAGON tough of everything to achieve that in the long run.

Paragon Reserve Fund 40,000,000 PRG
Community Controlled Reserve 10,000,000 PRG
The Paragon Reserve Fund operates as part of our business model, ensuring a stable token with a bright future. It is in our best interests to ensure that the PRG purchasing power grows over time and market manipulation is avoided.

As far as I know paragon won't be selling any cannabis or other illegal substances. They will try to legalise them and that's a big difference

Found a new ICO that i found interesting, it's called the ParagonCoin.  Just gave some basic info and how to make your first purchase if you think it will be beneficial.  Go to the site and see if you would like to invest.

I think it will be the PARAGON online community who will do the voting through its online platform.
I think Amsterdam would be the best choice. It's well known for cannabis all around the world.

She ran her own Cannabis company AUbox. Also read her statements on https://www.reddit.com/r/Iota/comments/6uxipy/iota_paragoncoin_david_s%C3%B8nsteb%C3%B8_jessica_versteeg/ Seems like quite a smart person to me

cooperation with IOTA  Grin Grin Grin

Why would they not cooperate with Byteball instead? With similar technology as far as I know it is a much less centralized asset, and in an earlier stage of distribution.
This is a really good idea imho. As far as I know the Byteball team has introduced a cashback feature in the last weeks. By accepting GBYTE payments you would gain attention of the whole Byteball community. They have boarded the first merchants this week. I could well imagine that this could be a very good deal / partnership for both parties.

Could be wrong, but isn't Iota a cheaper option (with regards to fees) and capable of more tx/s?

minimum requirement with IOTA is still $10000. But give you additional discounts 3%

Oh that's new for me, can you elaborate on that $10.000?

I am bullish on all weed tokens, especially if there is a real vision, a great team and real life use cases. But before I will invest, I have some specific questions:

  • Where will the ICO funds be stored?
  • Where will the Paragon co-working spaces be located?
  • Is the roadmap fixed or could I have an influence on it as a community member?

Don't trust any exchange!

I can guarantee weed won't be legalised anytime soon here. Still none the less this is a growing industry and a huge opportunity is there to capitalise on. Time will tell if Paragon is the one or not.

Where will the ICO funds be stored?
According to their whitepaper the funds will be escrowed and their books will be audited by companies like Deloitte and Grant Thornton.

Where will the Paragon co-working spaces be located
The flagship headquarter will be located in Oakland. There will also be ParagonSpaces in other important cities like Amsterdam, Madrid, London, Prague, Cape Town, Berlin and many more. You can find a complete list of cities in the official whitepaper.

Is the roadmap fixed or could I have an influence on it as a community member?
As a Paragon community member you can influence the roadmap by upvoting and downvoting on things like community rules, ParagonSpace locations and other stuff.

As you can see you will find most of your questions answered in the official whitepaper. You should better read it before investing. You can find the whitepaper here: https://paragoncoin.com/whitepaper.pdf. It is also available in other languages on the official website.

I think weed can be legalized sooner than we think. A big market and a fast expension can force government to react about weed questions. Its a nice and hard discussion. It can be really great to legalize weed for destroy the black market and for a medecinal application, a lot of patient take weed as pain destroyer, and its sweeter than drugs you could buy in pharmacy.
