It is related to the kind of secutity you are talking about. If it is about the stability of value. Bitcoin is a volatile currency and isn't stable in a short period. Yet I encourage investement as it have shown a very big growth till now. If the kind of security is a technical one means it is about " Can it be hacked ? I ensure you that it is immune to any kind of hacking. And it is intractable so your identity is safe.

It is as secure as you choose to keep it. Consider it very much like cash in that once you've given it away, you won't get it back. The difference is that no matter how much bitcoin you have, it can be stored on 1 piece of paper. You can also store it offline in hardware wallets, or online in desktop wallets. There are a number of methods depending on how secure you want it to be. It's crucial to remember, bitcoin was designed to cut out the middleman in finance, meaning every individual becomes responsible for their own banking. Luckily there are plenty of options to enable this to be done with ease.

You should be wary of any service designed to store your money online. Many exchanges and online wallets suffered from security breaches in the past and such services generally still do not provide enough insurance and security to be used to store money like a bank. Accordingly, you might want to use other types of Bitcoin wallets. Otherwise, you should choose such services very carefully. Additionally, using two-factor authentication is recommended.

Yes of course, bitcoin is really secure, because when you are using bitcoin you have a wallet and that wallet is like a cash, so that you have to keep that wallet to secure your money.

For me, yes bitcoin is secure no one can control it. But it will always depend on the user how they will follow the security precautions that the site or wallet will give. Also, be careful with our private keys make sure that you secure it very well. But share it with someone that you fully trusted in any case of emergency. Most of the Bitcoin function all protected by Bitcoin devs careful before release apps. However, it does not mean the Bitcoin users do not have the possibility of Bitcoin being stolen by someone. All permission are for user and their obligation is to preserve it.

The "cryptocurrency" carries some well-known risks—the price could drop precipitously, and scams have been reported. But there's also another, more technological danger: One crashed hard drive or online hacking incident can wipe out an owner's stash of Bitcoin, leaving them with essentially no recourse.
That's because of some basic differences between Bitcoin and a conventional currency such as dollars or Euros. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, such as Litecoin and Ethereum, are wholly digital forms of cash stored in so-called wallets. Like other files, Bitcoin wallets can be stored locally, say on a hard drive stuffed under a mattress, or in the cloud.

I think it is really secure because the developers of it are too good to monitor and to secure the bitcoin. Many of us always thinking if it is secure or not but for sure your money is secured when you invest in bitcoin.

Many wise people, we can not even understimate someone because we do not know they might get into the bitcoin website. I'm sorry to disagree since everything can be hacked nowadays. We do not know whether bitcoin is secure or not because of today's many hackers are spreading.

As far as what I know until now this bitcoin is safe, no one can steal your bitcoin unless it is caused by your own carelessness. You have to really save all your assets because bitcoin is a future asset that will benefit you every time.

If you can keep an account that you have then I am very confident that your account will be safe. Never store username, password, email or seed in any place. Because it can make a person take advantage of your negligence. And if the government forbids bitcoin I think you can still use bitcoin, you can try various network access such as VPN to still be able to access bitcoin. Many overseas services that provide services to send money directly to your BANK account in your country. Indeed. Negligence is one of the factors that will destroy our own security. Bitcoin secures everything that we have but once we had mistakes it will surely have consequences. There are people who will take advantage of our negligence thats why we have to do things that will secure our accounts and bitcoin. We are the one who is responsible if this kind if accidents happened.

Bitcoin is secure that the fact you need a wallet for it to access that will require you your email and your own password for the wallet. In accessing the wallet aside from a password a code will be sent to your number or your email address. Since your using email address your can also turn on its two factor authentication that will send a code in your registered number in the email, it will add more security in your account. Just be sure you don't use passwords that are easily to guess like your birthday, your number or alike.

I share the same experience only I explain it with the help of our modern technology we call internet, I think all of us heard this quote, “everything on the Internet is hackable” which is very scary, good thing bitcoin wallet is available in many forms i.e web wallet (which I don't really recommend) and hard wallet, I still use exchange bitcoin wallet but only for that day. Bitcoin is really not secure but if you have enough common sense to make it secure then great.
