Tell them that the safety of a bitcoin will only depend on how much the owner knows how to secure it. It doesnt matter how good the blockchain thechnology is if the owner of a certain coin doesnt know what to do with it.  That is why whenever a friend of mine wanted to engaged with cryptocurrency i am advising them to conduct research first to further improve their knowledge about cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrencies can feel secure, because they decentralize and often anonymize digital transactions. They also validate everything on public, tamper-resistant blockchains. But those measures don't make cryptocurrencies any less susceptible to the types of simple, time-honored scams grifters have relied on in other venues.  Experts caution against storing large amounts of coins through cryptocurrency exchanges, or in digital wallet apps on your smartphone or computer. The public-facing internet offers an attacker too many inroads to attempt to infiltrate your wallet, or trick you into giving them access.

"no security on the internet is true banar safe"
because every system on the Internet has weaknesses, and hackers take advantage of these weaknesses to infiltrate, either just to mess up or even steal a valuable asset, and for example is bitcoin
although the blockhain system is considered to have super high security, but of course still has weaknesses, and a visionary hacker can find the weakness
about security, as long as there is still internet hackers will always be there

Yes! Bitcoin is very secure it depends on the users on how they handle it and many hackers trying to use malware to steal your infos and bitcoins using files and fake links so thats why many bitcoin wallets and exchange sites recommending a 2FA method for the users to prevent hackers and safety is depends on you and you can buy ledger wallet for bitcoins to secure your funds but the one problem in bitcoin is you can't trace the hackers because all adresses are anonymous.

bitcoin is very safe to use anyone who wants to join with him, even bitcoin will give you the advantages if you really serious manjalaninya. and bitcoin security depends on your own because if one uses bitcoin it will be wretched. so you must be vigilant in reaching your account so it is not suspicious.

Its decentralized nature makes it virtually impossible to hack since each miner would need to be hacked at the very same moment.. We have thousands..

Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
Bitcoin is safe always and your privacy is kept in proper here. The reason why it is not restricted for those who are using it for illegal stuffs is because bitcoin is open for all regardless of what your purpose is. There's a room for those people if they'll get caught so worry less about them. There are a lot of countries already who banned bitcoin because of illegal doings and that hinders our vision of having bitcoin legalized worldwide.

Always get the private keys from your wallet, and keep them in a safe place. Everything is on the blockchain, so you can import the private keys to another wallet, online or on PC, and there you can have your bitcoins. Only if a hacker manages to get the private keys from the wallet provider, then your Bitcoin is gone!

It may be hacked, as everything what is online. But make sure you’ve 2-factor authentication and SMS/email verification/notifications enabled in the first place. In the other hand, Bitcoin Block Explorer - Blockchain is pretty safe.

If you want to have top-noch security and safety of your coins, get hardware wallet- trezor, ledger nano s or keepkey.

In addition, don’t keep all your cryptocurrency in one place. And make sure your computer or all the devices are secure also. Most of the time it’s our fault when one of our accounts got hacked.

A paper wallet generated from a computer that has NEVER touched the internet is the only safe way to store bitcoins.

Sorry to say but I think bitcoin is not completely secured because everything in this world are now highly technology used so it will be easy for the hackers to attack any system. Everything in the online world are not safe and secure because it is only the product of peoples imagination and made by their skills and intelligence so it will be easy for the people to create or to discover how to steal or hacked accounts. S don't give your fully trust on the online world.

It's impossible for hackers to get into bitcoin, this is my opinion. Passwords and keys are very crypt-ed so no one could get to them

The encryption for the cryptocurrencies are indeed so secured that even the professional hackers cannot hack the currency and i think that the only thing that makes them vulnerable for being called as a hackable is the wallets and also the other ways that their system might breach because of the vulnerabilities but at the end of the day, the coin itself cannot be hacked.

Also we can not say that bitcoin is secured because at the present time there is so much bitcoin site scammer yes let's say that the name bitcoin is secured but you can not really avoid that you are incounter of people who want to earn as hard as they want you The only problem is that they will benefit. Nowadays, there are more scam sites over secured bitcoin sites.

Bitcoin is insecure, unsafe in storage, unsafe in price, I have yet to fully believe in the blockchain, electronic wallet. Why are we leaving our money under their control? bitcoin price is fluctuated by day, by hour. I do not think I should drag my friends and relatives into the bitcoin. If they do not have enough free capital, it will be very dangerous for them.
