In my opinion, bitcoin is money. most poeple invest something because of thfef money. People see invest bitcoin can earn money easily and more than any investment. If bitcoin is not rising up like that and has the future, i think people would invest stock rather than bitcoin because it is much more safty.

For simple answer, I say that Bitcoin is like a money in the bank but checking from internet banking where the money is reflected in just a numbers which you can buy things online, transfer to others and take it out in cash. But the main thing is that money value is given by government bu the Bitcoin's value is given by the people itself.

I find myself lately taking the easy way out and suggesting google. I would prefer to give a clearer answer, but usually saying something leads to more questions and more confusion.
If someone could point me to a twitter type answer that would inform and twig their curiosity, i think it would be a better outcome.

I would say bitcoin is decentralized and we can use bitcoin for paying bills (if there are stores that are accepting bitcoin). We can you bitcoin for transfering money to our love ones if they are in other country it is easier because yoy dont have to go to the money remittances like western union or etc. Bitcoin is like investment also because if you deposit your money there is a chance that you can earn profit because of the people who getting interested from it means if they invest also the price might get increase because the higher of the demand of bitcoin the higher the price.

Well I wouldn't answer to deep and technical if that is the case because it will just hinder him the very idea of bitcoin as a good mode of payment in various online transactions. Just tell your friend that is is a form of currency online that has a reliable security and a continuously growing price that makes it a good investment opportunity.

I think the simpliest way for them to understand what bitcoin is just show to them your fiat and bitcoin wallet. Show them what will happen if you convert your fiat money to bitcoin. Then after the value of bitcoin you were converted increases then show it again to them and convert it from bitcoin to fiat currency. Then they will now understand that it can be use as a source of extra income. And they will be the one who will be more interested to study about bitcoin.
