BAIKAL has 3 more algos for x10 but they will not release them as they are making $300+ / day.

They just know to SCAM people with overpriced products
$1200 was BATCH 1 price 1.5 years ago ..... they pumped the price till $7000 and when they didn't have sales they started to drop.... and drop ... now is $1599....

Last month was $2600... if you bought last month you lost $1000 !

I call that marketing, not scam.
Those who bought in the right times have certainly earned.
This is asic world.

It's still not baikal fail if guys don't do some research before buying: baikal is not promising any particular profit, they just sell a miner for some particular algos, it's up to the buyer to use whattomine or something similar and get an idea about expected daily profit.
Asic world is just this, miners for good profit within a couple of month.
I was lucky, I bought when x10 price was low and started using it in december, when myr-gr was paying very high, so my roi was fast.
Instead, I would feel scammed if I bought and received a bitmain d3 last november-december.

But yes, you are right, it's a fact: the more people buys x10, the more x10 profit drops.
But it's normal behaviour.

Oh Jesus, one of my Giant X10 is showing „no devices running“.

Reflashing doesn‘t change.

It looks all normal, just the fan is on 100% I can can hear it. Also I can connect normally and restart whatever.

I think it is probably the hash board. The pi looks like it’s working well, because I can connect and so on?

Anybody had this? I hope I can order a replacement for the so called ‚hash Board‘.



*Update*
i disassembled it a few times, cleaned it and changed the SD-Card. It work for now, but I will buy replacement parts anyway.

About CE Certificate:

I got a reply from baikal, they told me they do have now CE-Labels and Certificate. I asked them to send me one but they refuse, I already have some X10‘s which they can confirm.
They only send it out with the tracking number.

I don’t know why? Anybody can confirm getting these and can upload one example (hide your details if there are some).
I don’t know if they just say it to force customers to buy it or if there is a serialnumber thing about this? I really don’t know.

Please tell me what you think about this. CE Certificates/Labels are pretty necessary to get it into EU.
Maybe you are lucky and it got through but what about next products.
For me I want to know, otherwise it could be costly play in the future.

Maybe they have CE label, but it's "China Export" instead, similar to European CE label, but nothing to do with that.

Well they mentioned more algo's, but it doesn't mean they are going to release those algo's for x10. Maybe it's only marketing to push declining sales for x10, as miner becoming older and older. Also if they release one or two new algo's, don't expect a good profit or big gains. Will be the same situation like with nist5 and x11ghost...

If the coin prices stay the same and no new miner go to net and shot difficulty to the moon, you can earn about 0.0015 btc now.
In Januar it was 0,007 BTC a day.

Think about, before order new X10!

Indeed it's 4-5 months ROI if things hold. Major risk is asics coming for any of the X10 algos. To my understanding X10 is fpga, it's possible to get 10x speedup with asics.

Another risk is coins switching algorithm.

Nothing risked nothing gained though. Imo just be diversified, have some x10s, some innosilicon a5s, gpus, etc.

- I thought you knew that BAIKAL is cheating with custom papers and CE ... TAX Fraud at 100% .. IF they proper check what you import then goodbye product + tickets and jail (in some countries)
- The new algos for x10 are filling BAIKAL's wallets first and when the sales will be close to zero they will give them to the public
- You should be lucky if in 1 month from now you can make $5-7 with the X10 BAIKAL

Hmm.. all this things about customs and CE-Labels.

I don‘t know if it would be a good idea to buy again from them. Maybe if a new product will come one day.

It worked all good for me but to hear these things are really bad. Probably they destroy it and your money is lost??

If the BK-X is not an FPGA miner then why would Baikal ask customers which algo's they wanted to see next?  If the algo's are already baked into the hardware they should have said "which of the following do you want to see released next".  Not a wish list of algo's you want to see.
