I found an easy work-around to import a Jaxx or Jaxx-Liberty wallet, or most other unsupported wallets. This method will probably work for most other wallets that use the same type of recovery process. Problem: The Jaxx-Liberty Wallet export feature does not provide a list of transactions in a .csv file, but rather only addresses can be exported. It would be tedious to look up each address on a block explorer, especially if a new address is created every time a transaction is received. Solution: I found that the easiest way to import all data from an unsupported wallet is to use the backup recovery process to "restore" a wallet into a fully supported wallet such as Exodus. The idea is to use the recovery phrase to so that Exodus actually becomes a new clone of your existing Jaxx-Liberty wallet, which will include all the separate wallets and transactions. Then once Exodus becomes your new wallet software, simply follow the instructions from CoinTracking.info to export, and then upload the .csv file. I checked the CoinTracking.info site to look for wallet import options that support all transactions, including fees. I saw that the Exodus wallet is fully supported. Here is a way to convert an unsupported wallet in to a new Exodus wallet. How to Clone an Existing Wallet to a New Exodus Wallet 1.) Install the Exodus Wallet, Desktop or Mobile App from the official site www.exodus.io -- be sure to verify 2.) If you already have an existing Exodus wallet, try the process with a different wallet, or make a backup, as this process will start fresh and replace everything 3.) Open Exodus, Select "I already have a wallet" 4.) In the "Restore Wallet" section choose, your method to sync from QR code, or from secret phrase. 5.) Get the recovery words from Jaxx, (or other unsupported wallet), and enter them into Exodus (or try the QR Scan). 6.) Follow the instructions from CoinTracking.info (Enter Coins / Wallet Imports / Exodus) to export, and upload the .csv file.

@tradenotes Thank you for sharing this useful workaround. Just want to add that after importing the transactions you would need to "bulk edit" the exchange name from "Exodus" to "Jaxx (or any other wallet name). Or if you have Exodus transactions in your account already you would need to rename the exchange name beforehand. Otherwise you would mix them. See FAQ "Bulk Edit/Delete - Instructions" https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000032637?lang=en

Hello Can someone advise why there are at least 3 different values for any crypto asset please. For example as a test I have input the purchase of 10 ETH on 1st May 2020 at $300 AUD each, $3000 AUD total, no fees. Then I run the reports and I get the following ETH values???
Closing Position Report from the Tax Report with year ending 30 06 2020 $3271.3
Balance by Exchange with year ending 30 06 2020 $3326.52
Total unrealized and realized Gain/Loss all currencies with year ending 30 06 2020 $3279.32
These multiple price values only serve to further make it more difficult that it already is? They cannot ALL be right so why is this setup so confusingly incorrectly. If I were to give all these or similar to my accountant to lodge with the ATO then I would be in trouble with many questions to ask. I NEED TO BE 100% ACCURATE PLEASE. Hopefully someone from CT will clear this up for the sake of clarity. Thank you

Hey AussieWayne, Could you please send us a support ticket with your username. I would like to see what happened here. It looks like a time zone issue. I have created the same transaction and all 3 reports are showing exactly the same result. Thanks!

I see your free tier of pricing allows up to 200 transactions. Is that 200 transactions/year or 200 transactions total across all years? Thanks.

The transactions per account across the license levels are always in total.

Greetings all,
So right now I'm using cointracking, but I just have a hodling portfolio in it at the moment.
What i want is to break it into two portfolios - one trading and one hodling - preferably on the same account - as I will likely use my hardware wallet for both.
Maybe with an API for my trading site so that it records the trades automatically in the trading portfolio. Though I'm not sure if it's adviced or if there still is safety problems doing this? (I remember a decent amount of people getting their coins hacked this way)
So two questions : Is it possible to split the portfolio like that - and is it inadvisable to use an API like that?

@Skrodk
Thank you for using our software service.
Yes this approach is possible. Regarding the naming - one account would be one portfolio. You can assign trade groups to each transaction e.g. Trade group "trading" and another one "HODL" to separate those transactions within the same account. We have now an automatic depot separation for creating tax reports which helps as well.
We do accept just read-only API keys within while creating API jobs for exchanges as you would like to do. Most exchanges do offer CSV exports as well which you can import in your CoinTracking account - either via direct CSV exchange import or the custom CSV or Excel import - if you do not want to use APIs.

How exactly would i do it? I have to make a new account and them tie them together? Would i be able to segment the account for trading and for hodl inside the account then? - Sorry if im being stupid but im not quite sure how to procced : )

ARS value is way off. "791.581,44" is the current price at CoinTracker, $1346300 is the actual value in a local exchange. Where do you get that value? Is there a way to modify it with a local exchange value?

Please Help After upgrading my phone (for the first time in five years), I lost access to several wallets & exchanges. I have seed phrases saved but I (stupidly) did not label them, so I do not know which seed phrases belong to which wallets. I am trying to recover my coins from various wallets and exchanges but I do not know which ones! (with the seed phrases, it's like I am a valet with all the car-keys but I don't remember where I parked the cars!) As CoinTracking app pulls data from every exchange and every wallet, how do I see where each coin is located? Eg. on which wallets or exchanges are BERRY, NEO, FLOT, BBO, SNAGS, NTS, SOP, ATOM2 etc? Thanks for any assistance or advice

You can check the "balance by exchange report" ( https://cointracking.info/balance_by_exchange.php) in your CoinTracking web login where you have stored which amount of coins (if your CoinTracking account is up to date). I hope that helps a bit. Good luck during the recovery process of your wallets.

Just wondering whether anyone has come across this issue when using metamask and cointracking. When i use a dex instead of creating a Trade coingtracking counts it as a Withdraw and a Deposit, so it never calculates the correct purchase price of the coin. Is there any way to make this automated, or do i need to go through and manually change all those Withdraws/Deposits to Trades, and if i do this will it then pick up those Withdraws/Deposits next time it checks the wallet for transactions?

@theratears
We are working on an automated solution already. For now you can only add additional trades or adjust the trades manually.
1.Option: If you delete a ETH API job transaction it will be re-imported again. If you edit one of those 2 deposit or withdrawal transactions and change it into a trade the other one get´s re-imported again. To avoid that you can add a start date to your ETH API job and move this every time when you edit one of those transactions and deleted the other.
2. Option: The other way would be to add another 2 transactions between the already added trade from you. Exchange name "dex". A deposit transaction of the ETH at "dex" and a "withdrawal" transaction from "dex". Then the balance would match as well.

When you get the notification in the top right hand corner to tell you that new transactions have been imported, is there any way to tell which transactions they are? This morning i got notified that 28 transaction from Bittrex were imported but i can tell which ones, and now all my totals for my coins are completely out. As far as i could tell my Bittrex was completely up to date.
Edit: Looks like i now have a lot of duplicate withdrawls but they dont show up in the duplicates section because their times are different by 26 seconds. Was something changed with Bittrex recently in the way it imports, should i remove Bittrex and re-add it? And is there a way to find entries that are duplicates but the times are slightly out?
