Hi
I have looked for service like your for a long time
really happy to find you
I think there is a problem in bitfinex API import
it imports only a few of the trades I think only the deposit and after 5-6 tries
I have tried to change API keys I have tried to do it manually etc every time it import 1-2 orders out of 5-10
and the big problem is after when you import CSV it gives you a warning that asks you to delete all the trades in order for the API import to work and it still don't work Sad
username is sirobvo@gmail.com

I'm having this same problem. New trades are not being imported, even after a forced reload on the Jobs area.

Is this a problem with Cointracking or BitFinex API?

Best,
cptvk

Same for me as well.  It only will pull in a few trades at a time when using the API, have not tried csv import yet. I'm going to let it run for a few days and see if it gets all the trades in.

Can someone help me understand the «average purchase price»? I don’t know if this problem is due to some bad registering, or if this is just normal behaviour. My USDT average purchase price per coin is about 11000NOK (which is around 1300USD) and my average sell price is 8.5NOK (which is correctly about 1USD). This makes for a huge registered loss. If I view buy and sell separately, the average purchase price is about 8.5NOK, which should be correct. Also, if I click on «detailed calculation», all trades have the USDT price of roughly 8.5NOK).

I made some bad trades between XMR/USDT and ZEC/USDT recently, but I can’t understand why this should reflect on the average purchase prise of USDT (which should be at a very stable value).

I never hold USDT, as I only use it as a mean to buy other crypto. I only have 0.5USDT left. But I have a realized loss of 4500NOK on the USDT ledger. Which should mean that I sold USDT at a huge loss. How can that be? Either I don’t understand how this is calculated, or something is wrong with the calculation or registering. I’ve double checked my registering (csv import from HitBTC), and I can’t find any errors. Can somebody shed some light on this?

Hello,

I'm sorry but I'm completely lost with this app. Everything looks like unclear and a mess, except for dashboard.

FAQ says there is profit / loss on dashboard & stats page, there is not ! Only balances, btc price (which comes from nowhere, current btc price displayed is false), etc... but no profit/loss nowhere in these pages.

The only page I saw is -> Realized or Unrealized gains (Unrealized? what the goal of this ?) which display completely false values according to my polo trades.
If I display profit/loss in US dollar for a two week period, it shows some pairs at more than 100k dollars of profit ?!? I just have less than 10k on polo so ?
If I display as BTC for the same period, I don't feel the values is correct.

Sometime keeping things ASAP (As Simple As Possible) brings more clear and effiscient stuff. I'm cold to order your product thread owner.

My main request about a profit/loss tracking product is to be able to track profit / loss indeed. It looks like I cant with CoinTracking, or do I have missed something ?

Any help or official reply ?

Thanks.

Hi,

Simple question I'm probably overlooking in the help file.

How do I determine where my balance in a particular coin is held? Say I have 10 BTC total in 3 exchanges - where do I find how this is split up between the 3 exchanges?

Thanks,

EDIT: Solved my own question. Found "Balance by Exchange" under the header on the Dashboard screen. Now I've got everything balanced & my quantities match the exchange.

Nice job on all the new automatic API integration, you guys have been busy! Smiley

Anybody has gains in the tax report overevaluated like crazy?
Cointracking gains are 200% of what they should be.

Maybe it's because of issues with some imported trades?
I have my trades imported from Coinbase, Bittrex, Bitfinex and QuadrigaCX.
I tried API imports and manual ones and the result is the same.

The bad part is that I paid for CT only to be able to do my tax report easily but so far it's not working  Undecided

I found something interresting in their FAQ:
https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000018276-missing-fees-in-the-tax-report

Missing Fees in the Tax-Report
Modified on: Wed, 6 Dec, 2017 at 10:04 AM
"At the moment, the fee values are not deducted from your gains in the Tax-Report.
You can easily find them on the "Trading Fees" page and subtract them yourself from your total."

If I substract my fees my gains now appear to be underestimated by CT, but not by much.

Dario can you tell us if this FAQ is accurate and we must all substract our fees from the gains in the Tax report?

on my Withdraws it says .11159226 but it doesnt say the fee that Bittrex took (.001000)

Please integrate Bitgrail API imports.  They don't offer CVS exports.

Does anyone know what to do for trades and fees that start 8 digits after the decimal?

There's some exchanges that gives you fees and trades that sometimes don't start until after the 8th decimal like coinsmarkets.com

I'm also tearing my hair out because some exchanges are clearly using some type of rounding which makes it so I'm getting fractions of various coins left over that I shouldn't have left over.

I think I can only bundle so many trades legally with the government ruling that trades within exchanges are taxable.

What can I do beyond doing this on paper?  Please help someone.

If cointracking made it so you could enter 26+ digits after the decimal without rounding that would be amazing.

So the api connectivity is locked to paying customers.  I pay and find out it doesn't even work for coinbase.  Not cool guys.

I would LOVE it if you guys could add API wallet support for STEEM, SBD and XEM. XEM is in the top 9 on CMC so I don't see any reason for it to not be supported.

I saw you made some more tweaks to the Realized/Unrealized Gains page and I got a very strange result. I have it set to "Best Prices", "Average of Unsold Assets as Cost Basis", "In USD" and "All Currencies". Maybe this is what you expected it to do, but right now it is showing a HUGE unrealized loss on USD of almost 70%.

And how about API wallet support for Ethereum? Not my favorite coin by any means, but I do have some in a couple addresses and it is the second top ranked coin on Coin MarketCap. I can't imagine I'm the only one who would benefit from ETH API support.

I do thank you for giving API support for DMD Diamond, one of my favorite coins Smiley

Hi,

Coin Tracking is a good software but I am facing the following issues. Actually these issues are the ones preventing me from signing up for paid plans.

1. No supports for exchanges in India (Zebpay, Unocoin, Coinsecure, Bitfort, Koinex, Coinome). It is a pain to recreate excel format for all transactions.

2. Somehow my ETH wallet (Myetherwallet) transactions are not being shown accurately in Coin Tracking. It always shows negative balance which is not true.

Can the admin/developer look into the above issues. The market in India is growing with leading exchange (Zebpay) having over 2 million members. Adding support for Indian exchanges, added with some publicity(people like me can pitch in here) will go a long way in securing more users for Coin Tracking.

Thanks

"Upgraded" to Pro. Binance API is so screwed up. Not getting any of my balances right. Yes, i've bulk deleted and tried again. Under balance says i have correct amount of VEN. Under unrealized/realized gains, says i have *no* VEN. Trying to use CSV import w binance doesn't seem to help, though it worked fine before my 'upgrade' . KuCoin api is manual and still doesn't work. Get "nonce" error every time. Has completely screwed up my ability to trade. Paid $200 to go completely backwards with tracking.

Hi, anyone knows why right now CoinTracking is showing USD price for STR (Stellar) as $0.122 when it's actually $0.22? I noticed their chart also doesn't show that the price ever went above $0.18 which is just plain wrong.

I'm been using CoinTracking for about a week so far and do a moderate amount of trading (~150 trades in Dec).  I've found this tool to be extremely useful, especially as I am dreading filling my taxes for 2017.  I see a number of people have or are considering upgrading their accounts to the unlimited or pro.  I highly recommend it, but it does cost a shiny satoshi.  Don't be like me and pay full price! <Edit>...Oops...I guess I can't post a affiliate link.  FYI, if you can find one you'll save 10 %.
