Nowdays it is very difficult to find good promising ICOs for investing. Even very good ICOs are shut down and not up to mark due to fell down of market.
Even after many research, if you find a good ICO project, but it is not confirmed that they will fulfill all their promises, at the time of launching due to market status.
But on the other hand maximum ICO gives more profit then the expectations. So by seeing of all this, i say that ICO is good investment option, if you find a good promising ICO project.
But always remember that investments have risk.

The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.
of course I still believe ico although indeed the success rate decreased but I can not only see ico that failed because there are still many ico who succeed then from that I still believe in ico proof I am still in this forum because I want to find a good ico's

The success rate still exceeds 70%, thats pretty high if you think about how many new ICOs pop up everyday.

Despite the fact that today there are a lot of scams, we still see how many projects are developing and how long it takes in time, I think that today there will be a lot of new projects created, which in any case may be scams we have not yet learned to recognize scams

ICO still remains one of the profitable investments. Here only to choose them must be carefully and not afraid to lose their money.

There are ICO worthy. But to find them you need to check hundreds of projects, which is quite a laborious occupation. Therefore, it is better to invest in what is already on the market. Preferably in the top 50

Yeah I still believe to ico and sometimes participating to them, because if you can find good project, you can buy it from cheapest price and can do x5 x8 easily, like wanchain and nucleus.

I don't believe ico this way. It has exposed too many problems. The market needs new ways of financing to replace it.

it is getting harder and harder to find a good ico. There are already so many projects that some are already double and will get no or little money. The ideas are getting worse and worse. There may be 2-3 good ico left in the month. The rest will probably die or not work

Indeed, many ICOs have same platform with others ICOs and thats make peoples confused. But many good ICOs happen right now. Its better if we doing research first before join in ICO

I still believe in ICOs. But there are, of course, many scams and weak projects out there due to little regulations on ICOs. Investors, supporters, and users need to invest cautiously.

Although the massive amount of scam ICOs that are out there today make it very hard for people to trust and believe in ICOs I still believe that there are a lot of good ICOs out there that you can invest in and stand to make a lot of money from, the hard part is actually finding out the ones who are good and not actually trying to scam you and take your money

Any business projects involve risks. There are also many scams and unscrupulous entrepreneurs in ICO. If you are careful enough and well studied the project you are interested in, then why not take a chance?

I believe in such projects. It is necessary to just give time to such a project for their development, in real business just as time passes projects become profitable

Well, I think that the reason behind it is that ICO's are filtered heavily and people started to think where to invest, which is good from my point of view.

ICOs are in many ways similar to startups. No doubt it is risky.

Even the famous ones makes mistakes - like Dropbox buying $100,000 chrome pandaSmiley

Always do your due diligence (checking team members, WP, etc...) and business model - I see many ICOs claiming that middle man must die, but many time it is just non-sense and their business model wont work. (see this Vitalik's tweet)

I think that it is not possible to be so negative about ico companies, because there are still quite promising projects. Therefore, if you make a sufficiently qualitative analysis, you can invest a really good company.
