Why are so many people against bitcoin?

People against bitcoin because of the criminal activities uses bitcoin as a payment. But some people thinks that bitcoin is illegal because the government didn't accept bitcoin.

 Few months ago some people I know who thought bitcoin is useless now do lots of transaction with it after giving them a proper explanation and showing them how bitcoin works. We don't blame them because each of them have different reason why they against bitcoin, beside bitcoin now is very helpful of us. Those people who did not understand bitcoin how does it works.

They are against bitcoins because they are afraid of the dangers that bitcoins bring to their lives. Many countries prohibit bitcoin because they are being used by terrorists and criminals. They use bitcoins to transfer money for illegal missions and they will never be found by the government.
Or there are some people who hear bad rumors about bitcoin and fear bitcoin. They do not dare invest in them because they want their lives to be safe.

Lack of knowledge is the reason why many people are against bitcoin. Their knowledge is based on what they've heard. They think that bitcoin is a scam.

I don't think if money really goes to the wrong hands as you only make the transactions you intend to make to who you want them to go to. People fearing BTC is mostly because of the negative talks it has had in the media d government cautions. these kind of negativity makes most people uncertain of whether they'd want to venture in BTC

Some people are against it because they think that bitcoin is just a fraud and not being worth anything. It is not like a cash that has store value and regulated by the government and the country. Those are the people who don't understand how bitcoin works.

Bitcoin is a new program that has not yet been covered by the people. Bitcoin remains concerned about them. Since it has not yet been universally acknowledged, it has not become socially confident about Bitcoin. So many are staying against it.

There are many reasons :
- Investing in Bitcoin involves high risks but potential gains are very high from potential risks.

- Governments of some countries have declared Bitcoin as illegal because if it will get the status of legal, due to digital currency government will not be having any control over it.

-People don't understand the evolution of Bitocoin due to lack of knowledge.

- Bitcoin is not regulated by any bank or government entity so there is no grievance redressal.

- For India investors the status of Bitcoin is Illegal which has been declared by Reserve Bank of India in December 2013 through press release.

- Some people are misusing cryptocurrency for their advantage.

There are people against BTC because they try to create FUD and once the price drops, they go ahead and buy BTC for low price. So, going forward don't believe people who are against BTC.

I think they just simply hate bitcoin because it's quite risky like gambling, noone is telling you gambling is good right ? So it's the same with Bitcoin, they're thinking you're gambling with it.

I guess they just didn't have enough knowledges or understand Bitcoin to accept them. This is the instinct of human , they're refusing everything that they doubt about it.

Some people were against with bitcoin because they think that bitcoin is a bad effect and some are thinking that this is a gamble site and scammers etc.They think bitcoin is not trustworthy .

Many people are against bitcoin and for me it is because of the STEREOTYPE of the mindset of people that bitcoin is just an "Internet Money", "Scam","Only use for illegal transactions" and many more.In my experience, I've talk to my friend and our topic is bitcoin, then he rapidly questioned me "Is that the money found in deepweb? The money that are used for illegal transactions?", and clearly come to my mind that people have lack of knowledge about bitcoin and because of it, the only thing that they believe to are the things that are being said by other people without having certain proofs/evidences. Bitcoin is having negative comments and it is because of the STEREOTYPE beliefs of people, we cannot do anything about in but to do our job to clearly explain to them what bitcoin is, if they dont believe it even we explained it already, then it is up to them, the important thing is we did our job to elaborate what is bitcoin.

Against bitcoin, only the government of the countries, since they do not have control over this currency! And they can not earn money from this and take a commission!

Who are these people you are talking about? Because commonly I see two groups of people who hate bitcoins; The first one is the government, they don’t mean to hate bitcoin, they just want to regulate the unregulated currency. But they can’t get the point that if the government control bitcoin, then the main essence of being autonomous currency is gone. Second group I see are the fiat investors, they hate it, said it is a fraud because people are shifting to invest in crypto rather than in their own company.

for those people maybe they dont know how bitcoin is what the process or maybe they even not try yet. and to those people who agains bitcoin but they know about what bitcoin is may they are affraid because bitcoin risky one, in terms of security maybe?. thankyou.

There are companies today who is greatly being affected by growth of cryptocurrency and one of the reason why bitcoins cannot fully bloom is that, there are a lot of companies who are creating black propaganda for people to avoid investing and that is the only biggest reason why people are becoming doubtful on bitcoins.

I think other people are not against in bitcoin. Instead, they just do not want to know about bitcoins. They also do not want to invest in it because of the misleading news. That bitcoin is a scam.
